If your BD is encashed that means your application would be in Process

If you send inquiry to CIC for the application status (after 3 months) then you will get Client ID with that you can check your status at ECAS even if you haven't received PER

Dear wayne / anil / cur-rozen ,

I have couple of queries on filling of forms.

(1) Form IMM0008_1e Sehedule 1 Back ground declaration.

Query on Section 10 of form :

what to write in name of institution ? College name or University name or Both ? Can i write short name of University in it e.g. IGNOU for " Indira Gandhi National Open University " ?

College name - better to write the full version

AND what to mention in Type of certificate or Diploma field ? What to write for Secondary & Sr. Secondary education ?

Whether only need to write Bachelor or full name of Bachelor degree?

For secondary, write Secondary and for HR. Sec, write Higher Secondary. Full version of the degree would be great!

(2) In form Schedule-3

Section-5 Lang. Prof.

Is it ok if i select high in all the field of English ? AND

NOPE. You need to indicate the results of your IELTS ONLY!

Section-11 Work Exp. details

Is it necessary to write all the main duties as it is too short to write all details ?

Is it necessary to provide all main duties here ?

Yes, it is necessary to provide ALL the main duties here. The best way is to attach a sheet with the main duties to this page.

(3) As far as what i have understood i think i need to make 2 copies of main forms one for CIO check list & other for

New Delhi visa office check list right ?

NO. Just one copy of those forms are to be bundled with the CIO checklist. Need not print another copy for the VO checklist.

Do i need to check Proof of Lang. section in New delhi VO check list ? as it is already given in CIO checklist ?

Yes, you need to check that in both the checklists, but attach the IELTS TRF with the CIO bundle.

PCC need to be attached with New Delhi VO checklist ?

Yes, as this one is indicated in the VO only, you can attach it to the VO checklist.

(4) Finaly do i need to pack New Delhi VO check list in seperate envelop ? & put that envelop with CIO checklist & documents ?

Or Paper clip CIO checklist & CIO supporting documents AND Paper clip NEW DELHI VO checklist with supporting documents

and Put both in Single envelop for final dispatch ?

Just paper clips would do. Arrange it like this,

1. CIO checklist + ALL documents mentioned in this = put a paper clip
2. VO checklist + ALL documents mentioned in this checklist - the overlapping documents(meaning, no need to attach those already attached with the CIO checklist) = put a paper clip
3. Put both these bundles into the same envelope and seal it and send it!

(5) What is the best courier service from India to deliver to Canada ? Blue dart or DHL ?

I used FEDEX, but guess both Bluedart and DHL should be good enough.

Thanks in advance & need reply as soon as possible .

Regards,
Mayank

Guys, today might be one of those days when CIC falls silent.

There is a massive storm on the way today on the East Coast of Canada.

Hopefully it won't last for more than a day.

My friend i added your details to the spread sheet can you please tell us if you send the PCC or not

Amro

Thank you Amro. I have not sent the Police Certificate yet (based on the check list)

By the way, I read on the Paris Office site that the Visa Office isexperiencing some delays in responding to applicants because they are updating/installing a new software. May this would help some of you who have not heard from their visa office yet.

Cheers !

Hi!!All,

I have been a silent follower of this forum since the very beginning. Finally i hv decided 2 join.I have applied under NOC 1122 from Mumbai. My application was received by CIC on Oct 11th.Since the last few weeks i have noticed tht many applications hve been rejected bcos of 'No birth certificate'.This has got me worried as I too have not submitted my birth certificate as i do not have one.I assumed tht a passport,10th certificate etc. are proof enough for my DOB.
Can anyone advice me as to wht i can do to avoid a NER on the grounds of 'No birth certificate'.Can i send an affidavit confirming my DOB or anything else.PLSSSSSSSSSS HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear All,

Have faith in God,

This is a great week. Till date our forum has received 17 PER till date.

Wish a great closing for the week.

Congrats to all those who received there PER.

Wish you all the best those who are waiting.

Thanks Indira_prab for providing me clear information. +1 from me.

But i have one confusion :on this .

3) As far as what i have understood i think i need to make 2 copies of main forms one for CIO check list & other for New Delhi visa office check list right ?

NO. Just one copy of those forms are to be bundled with the CIO checklist. Need not print another copy for the VO checklist.

But As in New Delhi VO Checklist it is mentioned for the all the forms. I am little afraid & confused on it . Lets say if i am not attaching the forms in NEW DELHI VO Checklist then do i need to tick it ? Do you think that it is not going to harm ?

Please advise me on it.

Regards,
Mayank

Hi. I think the best/only thing you can do is wait it out. Some people have had their application accepted with 10th certificate + passport and it seems others have had it returned. Regrettably it seems at the discretion of whichever officer is doing the completeness check.

You might contact CIO and they could at least tell if you if your application had been returned, since they keep a list of returned applications.

There seems to be no way to send additional items to CIO until after the completeness check has been done.

Can someone please tell me where can I see the spreadsheet on here? It is not attached to this post? PLEASE! Thank you!
