Thanks my friend ... since my application is a little bit complicated (married with children, travelled to many countries, several translated documents, middle-eastern), I expect it to take more time in the eligibility review. So my AOR might not arrive before several days or even weeks ... no worries from my side. I'll keep you updated.

Hi - well when more people start reporting AORs we can start to establish some patterns with regards application complexity and visa office etc. The May/June applicants experienced AORs in batches of visa offices, where they'd issue no AORs for a particular office and then do them all at once.

We're married but no children, no particularly extensive travel, only ever lived in the UK etc, so hopefully our eligibility review should be fairly quick.

So i guess now 1st AOR is bringing GOOD NEWS one stage ahead of earlier times..

Hi, well spotted! My view is that there used to be 2 eligibility reviews. One at CIC based on the information you provided on your forms, and a second one at visa office based on the supporting documents. Now they are able to do just one single eligibility review since they have all the documents to hand.

This may also indicate that we may experience less of a wait at visa office since they'll have less work to do.

I think the 'payment dated 7th sep' implies the date of receipt of payment or encashment, as opposed to date of receiving the application itself.

No, you get it wrong, his BD was ENCASHED on 7th sep 2010.
Anyway, congrates to physiocraze for his AOR,
So, has CIO again changed their process? R we going to get our AOR one by one(though this AOR thing was omitted by CIO few days ago)?
