Congrats basmalahh,

Like many other Sept/Oct/Nov. 2010 applicants, i am also waiting my medicals with 'wide open eyes"......But still wait (seemingly) is on an un-ending journey......Lets hope for the best.

Congraaaaaaaaaaats Basmalahh , it is really a good news. I didn't chem my mail 2 weeks ago , I think I will finish my work today and check it ASAP. Hopefully I will get it quickly. Are you resident in Egypt or outside ?

I really saw several Sep/Oct applicants recieving their news recently that I was telling my family that ours should come anytime now..

So I am quite sure yours is on its way as well.. & I have also got this feeling too regarding both of you.. sincerely.. but you have to buy me a cake or so when you get it

The same mechanical reply... your application has been received by your VO, no further action is necessary on your part, we will contact you, don't contact us... or some sort of rubbish like that.

But enough of my case, it is time for you to celebrate, and thank you for your concerns. I have come to accept the time wasted on this ordeal and the financial loss I have suffered. I am moving on, it is all one can do. Destiny has many twists and turns, maybe something better awaits me elsewhere...

I have known you a fighter, that is why you will be a successful immigrant. & I know you live in a nice country but we want you with us in Canada. Remember our email immigration buddy group?

Do not just settle for this lame reply from them, send them another enquiry stating that you have got your GCMS that stated that your file hasn't been "active" or "working" (according to the terminology you found in the GCMS)
& that you have been in this for almost 20 months now which is much more than the usual time range & that many of the poeple who applied with you have already finished their processing or almost did.
You ask them specificially if there is a problem with your file.

Also, I would try different ways of contacting them. Try the specific online enquiry way & try calling them as well.

& please keep us updated because we are praying for you.

I read somewhere in the forum of someone who sent his passports with the RPRF (upon his representative's advise) though the VO haven't asked for it
He says that they asked him for photos later that's all & he had decision made just a month later!

Has anyone heard about a similar case?

I have been noticing that many "London VO's Sept./Oct. 2010 applicants" have been recieving their Medical requests lately.
So, I would advice anyone in that range -Nov. applicant as well- to keep an open eye to their mail & maybe even send London's VO an enquiry regarding the status of their application.

Nope, Never send passport(s) until the VO requests for it....

I have seen in many cases that VO gets really mad on receiving the passports without being requested !
