I just got my ME mailed to my office. congrats to myself and wish everyone a good luck.

I applied in Oct 19, 2010, and RBVO on FEB 11, 2011, and ME on APR 25, 2012.

Hi, I received the GCMS notes this week. It's 36 page PDF file emailed to me. The notes were generated on Mar 29, 2012. There are no abbreviations in my notes, it's in normal English language, what I mean is no codes etc. CIO gave 73 points. File got transferred to Buffalo in Apr 2011. Buffalo Visa Office requested for my wife's fingerprints in June 2011. The status shows. Criminality check in progress for me and my wife with remark no trace found. Eligibility, background, education, work experience not started. Buffalo found my application eligible under arranged employment criteria. There are 2 due dates mentioned, Apr 27, 2012, and May 5, 2012. It's been quite a while that nothing has happened, and E-CAS is still RBVO. I have no clue what to expect now, it's just a hopeless situation. No doubt, I check Ecas status every day, even on weekends, but nothing at all. This is going nowhere with Buffalo. But all I can do is be hopefully that I sunny day probably this summer they will be in good mood to clean the dust on the files, and find my file, and realize that they can do something on it. Wouldn't that be nice of them. Patience is the name of the game but there are days when I am not in such a good mood and spirits. I hope, pray, and wait, and that's all I can do. When the time will come, it will be all fine.

Guys whats the average time it takes for passport request after you submit medicals, I am looking at people from 30 days to 6 month, not sure what to expect.

Just checked E-cas again. Still RBVO. Some Buffalo applicants from November and October started to see some movement on their files..no such luck here. :'(

Hi Jbaby,

You need to fill IMM5563, and the first page gives the address of the office where to send the application. I had called CIC to ask if there is any email id I could email the form to, they confirmed there is none. So, I sent the application through regular Canada Post mail.

That's such a wrong information you got from CIC. The email Id is as follows:

atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca

Yes, you can email your request to the GCMS office. You are also allowed to send scanned documents to this ID. I am sure you already know that there is now a new payment system online and if you are living in Canada or have a friend or relative in Canada, then the payment is just $5.

Check this link by Cocknbull for the latest. Qorax has a similar thread on CAIPS but many changes has been made later.
