Hi everyone,I have been reading every post on this forum since April 2011(my only regret is that I didnot know of it's existence while I was preparing my paperwork) and have benefited immensely from the posts of all members.I thank you for generously sharing your time, experiences and opinions-indeed your contributions have enlightened my journey, kept me informed and most important -given me hope that all would work out eventually. This is my timeline-

Visa Off ------ New Delhi
NOC ------3113
App Filed -------April 15th 2011
PER -------May 24th 2011
File Transfer to NDVO -------June 25th 2011
Med,PP,PCCs,Fees request -------Nov 17th 2011
Meds done -------Nov 26th 2011
PPs,PCCs,fees sent ------- Dec 20th 2011
Visa Issued ------ Jan 28th 2012
PPs received ------ Feb 7th 2012

1) I do want to add that IMO address disappearance does indicate that one's file is being worked on and is sometimes followed by changes in the ECAS(when no changes are reflected in ECAS, it probably indicates that an officer is working on your file).
2) Also when I submitted my FBI certficates they had exceeded the three month validity by around a month and a half, and the local PCCs by two and a half months-but they were accepted anyway,as I didnot get a request for fresh ones.
3) Since my husband travels abroad extensively for his work(evident in his passport) I sent a very humble request-" IF POSSIBLE an expedited return of the PPs." In this regard I got a call on Dec. 29th from NDVO-wherein a VO acknowledged receipt of the request, told me that " they were ready to issue the visa, but was it OK if they took another 7days or maximmum 10days?" I said it was perfectly alright. They did take another month thereoff but the call set my mind at ease. So my humble advice is,if one has a genuine problem/request it really does not hurt to voice it.

I once again thank all forum members for your contributions-you indeed made my journey easier.Congratulations to all who have made progress and more important God Speed to all those awaiting a positive end to this journey.

Grace

Hey Grace,

Congratulations!! Your advice ws very soothing on my nerves. I have been awaiting the return of passports(myself & my family's) from NDVO since almost threee months nw. So, I hv every reason to be worried. I have a few questions for you.

1. Is it true that the more number of countries u visit, the longer it takes to process the visa
2. ws ur request for expedition thru CSE?!
3. When did ur RPRF get encashed & hw long did it tk 4 ur visas after tht date?
4. wht does ur E-cas say nw?

Have a good life ahead and may all your wishes come true.

Thanks & Regards,

pinakinil.

Thanks mycan and pinakini.

Pinakini I do understand what you are going thro' since you have been for your pps for so long.In response to your queries-
1.I do think ( I may be wrong) the more countries one visits the more complicated one's case becomes.
2.My request for expedition was through the covering letter sent along with pps, pccs, rprf fees etc
3. rprf was encashed on Dec. 22nd 2011 and visa was issued on Jan 28th 2012
4. ECAS is DM with the "decision has been made..." line since Jan 31st - with address missing since Jan 27th.Add is still missing.

Once again I wish you a speedy completion of the process.

Hi All, Plz help me on this one.

My PP is with NDVO from last three months and expires in OCT 12. (Valid for only eight more months). If they do not stamp the Visa for next two more months (by April), would I need to send them renewed PP. (Coz I have heard that PP needs to be valid for at least six months for stamping).

Param

Hello everyone,

Relieved and glad to let you know that we have sent, today, all the docs to be sent in response to the MR/RPRF/PCC/PPR email received by us on Feb 6th... With God's grace and your wishes entering the final steps of the PRV process :D My only prayers being that we face no more delays :)

The courier will reach tomorrow... Let's see if it is received by NDVO or not, it being a holiday for them... Besides, our DMP has said that we can call them up after 5 days and they shall give us a tracking number to track the reports reaching NDVO online!! That means we get to do this next Friday...

It's like a dream... Last Friday I was cribbing :P, this Friday I am done with the docs :D and next Friday the scene would again be completely different ;D !! Amazing journey it is, in every way...

Wishes for one and all!!

Best,

BhaktiUjjwal

Excellent BhaktiUjjwal, go ahead! :)

Best wishes!
