OMG... :(

hello everybody,

I took a little vacation but now I'm back. with news.
we just got a letter from Canadian Consulate in Detroit. they give us 60 days to send in income tax returns for 2003 through 2007 and IRS Wages and Income Transcripts for the same years. only the principal applicant is required to comply. hope they will be satisfied with tax returns only as my wife, who is the PA, never got a W-2 from the employer/restaurant during that period. at the time, their accounting matters/practices were not my wife's interest. we will explain the situation with an attached letter. fingers crossed.

again, I just got back from vacation. I didn't have time read all the missed posts and updates, any other big news?

Alex.

I got transfered to LA about 10 days ago. No news since then. BTW when did you get transferred to Detroit? IMO they are trying to verify her employment through TAX returns. If you have any other proofs I would recommend you to send them

I don't know when they did the transfer. I was not informed.
Unfortunately, there is no more proof except for the tax returns and the restaurant owner who actually provided the reference letter.

OMG! What exactly is Buffalo up to? I applied to the same Buffalo for a TRV about 3 weeks ago and even though the website said a month processing time, the visa was processed in 6 days. Why is PR taking forever? :(

Hi ozonezone,

Longest time bro. Nice to see you around. Trust you are doing great. Well, if it helps, London is actually not far behind Buffalo with the delay these days. Still waiting here, I pray for endless patience for us to see this through.

All the best bro.

I applied in 10/2010. Received 1st e-mail about file transfer to Buffalo in Feb 2011. Status is "application received by visa office".
Have not heard after that? What exactly is going on? Can any body please guide. How long it is going to take?

Thank you!

Hi Alex:

At least your application is in Detroit and my understanding is they process things fast. The tax records are very surprising, I have never heard of that. Best of luck, hopefully things will work out just fine. May I ask, what state do you reside in?

Also, what does your ecas say?

Thank you,
Cam
