Hi MiTSch,

Medical results line added since 4th November. And as you can imagine, I have been checking my email almost every second for ppr (just kidding) I am just trying hard to focus on other things at the moment.

Hey Jurav....Good to see some progress on your case.....does the letter indicate the issues on which the interview is based?
Also what's your Ecas status?

Please Reply

Thanks & Regards

Hey Nokiadesire

Thanks for the positive note.

Well, the letter mentions that my application will be assessed at interview under the IRP Regulations and/or under the Immigration Regulations, whichever is favorable to my case. They would like to assess current information regarding education, work experience and family configuration.

My ecas status as of today is still RBVO.

Regards

Jurav

@carolwayne74
I understand completely :D It was the same for me, maybe a little more frustrating - our medical was even lost in London, so you are lucky :)

Best wishes,
MiTSch

On July 1, 2011, the eligibility criteria for Federal Skilled Worker applicants changed.

Between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012, a maximum of 10,000 complete Federal Skilled Worker applications will be considered for processing. Within the 10,000 cap, a maximum of 500 Federal Skilled Worker applications per eligible occupation will be considered for processing within this same time frame.

Starting November 5, 2011, CIC will accept a total of 1,000 applications from international students who have completed at least two years of study towards a PhD and or who graduated from a Canadian PhD program in the 12 months before the date their application is received by CIC. Find out more about eligibility for this category or see the number of applications received to date on this site.

These limits do not apply to applications with an offer of arranged employment (job offer).

Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, the CIO cannot review each application for completeness on the same day it arrives at the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but these figures are meant as a guide only. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it reaches the CIO. We are looking into ways to minimize the effect of this on website updates.

Congrats Shalom.. Have a good life in Canada :)

OLD STORY:
Quote from: satyasuman on November 11, 2011, 11:31:10 am

Hi,

I have some update on my file. It is weird update though. Long story. sorry about that.

I am on work permit here and I have a representative from my employer who applied for WP renewal recently(september 16th). I applied for PR by myself(Dec 24th 2010) and I received a letter from CIC about confirmation. I logged online and checked the status and here is how it was earlier.

We received your application for permanent residence on December 24, 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 9, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us..

Recently, I have a change in address and at the same time, my employer representative has filed my work permit renewal. Since I have a change in address, I emailed my new address to CIC. Today, I have a status change and the change is:

We received your application for permanent residence on December 24, 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 9, 2011 to <<MY EMPLOYER REPRESENTATIVE ADDRESS>>. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, contact us.

WP: has to go to representative office.
PR: has to go to my new home address.

CIC messed up addresses for my WP with PR application. I just dont know what should I do now. Please advise.

Thanks,
satya.

Today: November 17th, 2011:

Hello All,

I dont know what to say about what I heard today. I want to share it with see what people would say.

Story line: I sent an update with my address change to CIC. There was no response from them and I was persistent. I sent them a reminder this time since E-CAS still shows old address after waiting for a month . Here is the response today.

Our records indicated your mailing address is exactly as you have it listed below, <<<NEW Mailing Address>>>>
e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only.

Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo.

Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Buffalo.
============

what does this mean? Should they want me to stop using E-CAS forever or just for address change only? Do you guys have any idea? May be its not worth thinking about. But, wanna pass it down with you guys once.

Atleast, I am happy that some one has touched my file once and sorry, its a very lengthy post. :-)

Thanks,
satya.

Hi satyasuman,
May I ask u if u r RBVO or Inprocess?
All the Very Best :)
