I am seeking a job in Canada. A recruitment agent in Canada has asked me to scan my visa. Do you think it is adviceable to do so? Im not much aware of what he is like except that he recruits people. Just give in your expert comments

Your visa has very sensitive data....not to be shared with unknown people. Ask him diplomatically what information he requires. I have not come across Recruiters asking for Visa scan...unless he wants to confirm your Legal status which is PR.

Employers in Canada generally want applicants to be in Canada for job purposes.....your recruiter might just be asking for this scan to serve as a proof to be shown to the prospective employer your status....

But not advisable....
