Is Nov24 a Holiday in Canada? Its Thanksgiving in United stated and the next day is Black Friday.
Do you know if government offices will be closed on Nov24 and 25th in Canada. Pls Reply

Not sure, but their thanksgiving is in Oct I think.

Dont know if its too late to reply. Off late, I was a silent monitor. But, Here it is.

Thanks giving in canada was over on Oct 10th. If Buffalo consulate is following the holidays that are related to US, then Nov 24th is also a holiday since Nov 24th is thanks giving day in US.

Thanks a mil for your advise, we are planning to sent our bank draft and updated PCC early next week.

But I am so confused in relation to our Meds, we sent LVO back our kids original Med Forms, that were issued with wrong pictures, they received them on Monday 24th Oct, as per Registered Mail report, since then we have not heard anything :, still hope to get updated Forms next week.

How long does it take do process adults Meds? Day or two? Should we send LVO receipt of when Meds have been done? Our dead line will expire on 5 Dec. Just thinking in case if we still won’t hear from them anything next week, will go ahead to undergo examination.

Can you please advice the best option?

We did ours in one day. It may depend on the DMP. Call DMPs in your area and find out.

We did not send our receipt to LVO because they did not request for it.

Not sure exactly what you may do in this circumstance! Your best bet is to wait a little more for LVO to send new Med Forms for your kids. I guess LVO is aware of the deadline and may extend it if necessary.
There are two DMP in Dublin area and you should get processed same day! Please note that the blood tests will take a couple of days to come back but your x-ray report will be processed within 30mins. In all, your Medical report should be finalized within 4-5 days (provided there are no complications) and get posted to LVO.

I finally dropped our PPs yesterday.
I will pick them up (by God's grace with PR visas) in two weeks time.
It took about 5 minutes to dropped them.

I'm really happy for everyone receiving good news on this forum . As for me, I have not heard of anyone from Kingston, Jamaica visa office hearing any news at all in the post June 26, 2010 category. I wish someone on this forum or elsewhere (from Kingston vosa office) would say whether they have heard anything at all from our visa office. Its really disappointing for us using Kingston visa office .

One of my friend who is a diabetic, has applied for PR and is waiting for the medical requests is concerned that when he receives the medical request, after medicals he will be declared unfit. Do you think Diabetes is a cause for rejection on medical grounds.

One of my friend had high Sugar in his medical, still he got his PR.
