Oh..yes..And ND VO is already overloaded with Backlog...Hope they will do for Post 26June soon...

>J26 applicants will get priority, certainly over any pre-Feb-2008 applications. How the priorities work between >J26 and <J26 after Feb2008 though is anybody's guess.

Nursemich, have you received your paper medical requests yet?

Hello All,

Congrats to all who received the PER, Medicals Request & change in the Ecas status.
Does Medicals request status mean all Verifications done by VO.

My Ecas status changed to
Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete . Request to update the same in spreed sheet.

Dear seniors,

Just some thoughts occurred my mind and need your inputs.

1. My ecas status continues to say "In Process", do you think the ND continues to treat me like a pre-june 26th application and i am kept in the waiting. I say this because i had received an erroneous email from ND long time ago regarding 120 days goof up. They did clarify and asked me to ignore the earlier mail sent by them.

2. I had sent an email for change of address and i did receive their reply that they have received my request for the change and that they will update in their system in due course. This was a month ago but ecas continues to show the old address.

Do you guys think i should be contacting the VO again or just let it be.

ya you should contact the VO again , and give them the details..

Awaiting some feedback

Thanks

Regards

Updated

Amro

Hi amro! Please update my infos in the spreadsheet...
Intended destination: Calgary, Alberta
1st 3 digits of file number: E00
Status: Application received

Thanks so much!

So, which stage are we actually in now, in relation to the pre-juners? Their stages of processing were,

1. Initial application to CIO
2. AOR from CIO - This should indicate you will have to submit the entire documentation to VO in 120 days
3. 2nd AOR from VO(this confirms they received complete documentation - can be related to our completeness check :P :P)
4. Medicals & RPRF
5. PPR
6. Visa

So, as i gather info from other threads, ND VO takes an average of 6 to 8 months after the 2nd AOR to issue the visas. Yes, they had to do the eligibility review for them and so we can straight away take 3 months out of the above. BUT for us, it takes about the same time (3 months) for our files to be received by VO :-[. So, no time shave here ??? ???

confused about how well this new system works :-\ :-\ :-\

While I'm happy about Manila VO's medical requests and 1 AOR from Singapore, very confused as to why no other VO has sent out an AOR at the least?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Have you sent your PCCs to the CIO? And when was your payment made as per the PER mail?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

We are between 3 and 4. I believe VO will not issue 2nd AOR when they receive the paper file, they will only issue it when they are ready to start processing. We think they may run security checks parallel with medical requests, but background checks (document and employer verification) they will probably do first. So this accounts for the few days between 2nd AOR and med requests being sent. If an applicant's documentation is convincing then they may not run any employer checks and simply go straight to meds and security checks.

I think most visa offices will be in "action" by the end of March, unfortunately some of us will have to wait longer than others but I believe the delays will be weeks rather than months. It's fairly evident that either post-June-26 applicants are getting priority at VO, or that a seperate unit or team is handling the applications, hence the spend of med request issues at Manila VO.

Just my 2 cents ;)
