How do I check my ECAS status...Do I need to have PER for that ?

Yes, that is the generla rule. Some people who have called up CIC and got their reference number also could check it but it did not tell much anyway. Even our ECAS status is not telling much. The only good bit is it has moved now. I will suggest you to wait for your PER and then check. You should call or email CIC only if people around your date are getting PER's and yours is held up for some unknown reason. Cheers

I have also checked E cas and the same : In process and when clicking on it, It says that Application has been recieved on the 10th of september 2010 and Medical results have been recieved
