Today I sent an email to Buffalo again and asked them about PCC with my file number.
I hope to see their positive answer in my mail box Monday morning when I come to office again ::) ??? 8) :D ;) :)

enjoy your weekend everybody.

Thank you so much Mary, it is a tremendous relief. I just hope all the people who have been patiently waiting, get their PERs as well, especially QueenCouger, Rina, Carl128... and everyone one else in early September.

Mary, if you get a response from Buffalo, would you please let me know how they want us to deal with PCCs.

Thank you,
Cam

Me too. I hope they get their PER as soon as possible.

Sure. I will post their response here once I receive it.

Enjoy the day and also your weekend with your family.
I experienced those symptoms too ;D It was funny.
As I said I was in the office and so behind the schedule of a project. I was nervous and after receiving that letter, I couldn't hide that silly and funny smile on my face:D even when my boss was talking to me about a serious subject ;D :D

Congratulations!

Dear Rina...
I really think that the officer who is responsible for 7th of September applications is still in a vacation..
No need to worry

To be this long, canady, they must have either got Swine flu or got the sack :P!
How we all wish this big gap would fill up with PERs, especially those of us in it.
Rina is sad and so am I. wenstumped got hers, but then Myself, shacon and Rina are all still waiting, along with Carl128 from the 8th. All of us in a group - seems odd that we should have been passed by for so long, even with the holidays in between.
Maybe we will have to find the strength to be patient for another weekend to realise our dream....

Really sucks, already 6:30pm in Sydney, NS so I guess thats the end of PERs for the week. Hopefully the 7th September Officer will be back from Hawaii on Monday :P

Dear queencougar,

seriously, i know exactly how you feel. Me myself was extremely anxious, worried and overwhelmed. So i know exactly how any one who is expecting his/her PER feel.

But remember that this period of time is not a measure to compare or to correlate anything to it. CIC is a governmental institute after all and it is highly possible that many of the officers are still in vacation.

Relax a little bit and be positive to get your PER on Monday. ;)

Best of luck to all of you :) :) :)

Thanks for the encouragement, canady. I am sure we are all feeling the strain but I joke about the Swine flu because you need a joke when you are feeling low, don't you? I have a lot of work to do this weekend to keep my mind off the disappointment but I will be free of time constraints. At least I can Skype my husband and hear his voice and see him at any time without it costing any money, as a telephone call would be so expensive I could not afford it and I am so grateful for Skype for that.
Thanks for the thoughts, CanadaJimmy. Enjoy the beer with Neil at the weekend - Neil can toast your PER, at least. The fancy bar is going to have to wait for ours until next week but at least the fizz will be nice and cold by then ;D

In order to obtain a chance to apply for PR, I had to be separated from my husband and my older boy las year, for seven months! I was in Canada with a baby, going to exams and studying, and they were home, waiting... It was terrible, the worst time of my life, and Skype helped a lot! Without it, I think that I wouldn't make it to the end! But, we are together now, waiting for our PER and better future! So, hang in there, I hope everything will be ok!

The spreadsheet looks good. But my VO is incorrect. It's HONG KONG, not Singapore. Thank you for doing this great job. congratulations to our friends who got their PERs.
