In response to my enquiry to the CIO as to whether or not they have received my package which has been recorded as lost by TNT, they asked me for the tracking number of my package. So I sent them the tracking number of TNT as well as that of the Purolator's (the inter-canadian courier which had taken the package from TNT in toronto and was in charge of the final delivery) last Friday. Just moments ago I have received the following email from them.
Good Morning,
Please be advised that we have a record of a tracking number which includes the TNT # so we may have received your submission this week. If you have not received an assessment letter via e-mail (if your e-mail address was provided) within the next 10-12 weeks, please request a status inquiry.

Does it mean that they have definitely received my package with its TNT tracking number? Do they mean what we call PER ,by what they are calling assessment letter ?
Need your promp advice please.
