hello everyone,
i called cic today and tell them that my file has been received on 10 aug but i did not got any response from u....she said yes ur file is received on same date but it is under processing.she ask me some security questions and one of them is 'how many yrs u spend in college or university'......and after that she told me initial stage process is for 33 weeks ,so u ur 33 weeks ends in march.....


pls tell me what is this 33 weeks process? and y its long delay i am facing????

33 weeks is a standard reply fob-off which CIC call centre operatives are told to tell anyone who asks about their application. The operatives probably do not know what's going on with the eligibility review.

As we can plainly see it is more like 14 weeks, not 33 weeks, for PER -so CIC may as well have said "the dog ate my homework" it would be a more believable excuse!

Hi Guys,

Not so good news now - I received reply to my enquiry (they answred to my third email enquiry) that they have returned my application on 30th nov via regular mail as my NOC 1122 reached the cap.

Now think of the next steps.........................

Get ready to send your application again on 1-July-2010 but take care from your IELTS & PCC date.

Don't call the call center, they are ignorant. We called them yesterday & they answered us that they have no record for us at all !!!

Try to send an email again, this is the only reliable channel.

What a relief, i felt that there was a huge rock on my chest which keeping me from breathing & writing in the forum then thanks GOD it was left finally.
