i think that rejection will be the decission for my case as i see 30 august now receive AOR and i check my email every second and no new news ,sorry for all members for this depression

Unfortunately I am not remotely drunk - I had one shot of whiskey in an Irish coffee I made, now I am drinking black coffee from the rest of the pot! Too late to get to the pub in decent time for closing time, so I think I'll save getting drunk until the weekend.

My wife and I are off to a Rugby game on Sunday so there will be PLENTY of scope for drinking after the match Also my wife is out on Friday night for her Christmas party (partners not invited!) so I think I will commondeer a bottle of red wine (possibly two) for myself to have with the other half of the super-hot curry I made myself on Tuesday I may even record some piano/guitar music whilst I am in the mood!

Anyway many congrats cforcanada! I updated you in the tracker.

Our PER was sent at 4.40pm Nova Scotia time so it was right at the end of the busniess day. So probably there is a split day and the rest of August 30th applications will be sent tomorrow! Cross fingers everyone gets them.

After all my "I am off to get drunk" I am sitting here drinking black coffee, LOL!

How come I should be out celebrating and all I can think of is what happens in the next phase of the process?

Thanks to you all for your support, I am usually my own worst enemy when it comes to self-belief!

Hi Midoo - I realise it must be frustrating but I don't think there is cause to lose hope just yet. Many members have received their AORs a few days out of sync, I guess it depends on your individual case.

I would give it until next Monday or so, and then send an email to CIC about your case.

WOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!! you deserve to come earlier to Canada, I hope you get your PR soon and start next winter here, I live in apartment and I have indoor parking but in a house my friends have big problem every morning to shovel the snow and get the car out when the snow is heavy.

Yes Mari, we will hopefully hear about our PERS together, God willing. By the way, while my family is used to living in a house, my wife and I were thinking of an apartment as well. Who wants the headache of a house/townhouse, besides the shoveling of the snow, there is the heating bill to worry about. My only concern is, spacious apartments are somewhat pricy... Could you possibly suggest some good areas where one can get a nice apartment and be near good schools? What do you think of the Markham area?

Although CIO was on steroids today, covering almost four "application received" calender days, I don't think our time will come before the New Years... but I would certainly be grateful for a present from Santa
