Why bother with the meaning of UCI number, the important thing for now is to have the PER , and begin to count towards the ultimate trophy; PRanil04_10 said:Sorry roman
Couldn't reply you on time ... please see the following, hope it will throw some light on your query -
Client ID Number
You will find this number on official documents issued to you from a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office, Case Processing Centre or visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Client ID Number" has four numbers, a dash (-), and four more numbers. (Example: 0000-0000).
Immigration File Number
You will find this number on any official document issued to you from the visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Immigration File Number" starts with the letter "B", and is followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).
Cheers, Anil
I would say it's safe to start it next month may be! If the longest time for the PCC is 5 weeks, you would get it in and around the same time as your PERJeniya said:Hi Indira

Indeed. PER is actually a very big hurdle, since you've then past most of the common places people's applications fail. You are not guaranteed a visa, however IMO 90% to 95% of people who successfully pass the final eligibility review will get the visa. Few people will fail security/background checks, and even fewer will fail the medicals.Naija Pikin said:Why bother with the meaning of UCI number, the important thing for now is to have the PER , and begin to count towards the ultimate trophy; PR

Wayne, I just want to recall post of last weekend. I hope u remember. Do you think that CIO is going to maintain this time scale entire year ? Since last 3 weeks we have observed that this time scale is maintained and PER's are released in sequence .Silent said:Wayne, I have not said that "B" file number indicates successfully clearing eligibility check. Unless n until one receives PER, we can't say that. My point is when CIO replies to enquiry mail from candidate they cannot say that one has passed eligibility. Even if one has passed eligibility, they will reply in standard format giving file number and stating your file is under process.
I think that they have certain plans in their mind and they are releasing PER as per certain time scale. May be they want to maintain certain gap between issue of PER and application submission. Otherwise we all know that as per members information eligibility check upto first week of october is over. May be they want to simultaneously clear the backlog of previous applications. This is just my thought. I may be wrong also.
congratulation engy wow you make me feel happy for youengy said:dear friends
