Ajay was conversing in Hindi..... sorry ..... what he meant was 'Do I have to get the same from University too??' In India, many colleges comes under a particular university. So when degree is awarded, it is basically from this university with the college name mentioned in that.

@ ajay - I don't think college as such are authorized to award graduation degrees. But however, if you have got such a degree on which you can vouch (no hard feelings... I am giving my true opinion) ... this is acceptable.... Basically your transcript has to come from university, which contains an attested copy (again can be a photocopy or duplicate of original) of consolidated marks list + Degree. The attestation is done by Registrar / Superintendent of Exams. This proves your completed qualification!!! Most of the Universities in India are doing this - You have to submit your details with a nominal fee ...... BTW - Did you approach your University (not college)??
Many people have got different views on this topic. On the other hand, few applicants have also send notarized transcripts (degree + consolidated marks sheet) with an explanation (for not providing in Univ. sealed cover) .... AND that has been accepted.

I am confused. If you got your degree from the College, what did you study at University? If you have a college degree and a University degree then you may need transcripts from both. But they are going to be primarily interested in Bachelor's degree and higher for the transcripts.

university -- college --- me. i had done my degree from a college that is recognised to a university,

all the certificates are given by the university through college from where i done my degree.

Please while we quite appreciate the diversity of forum members and the fact that we all come from various language backgrounds, it will be very much help the enthusiasm of all involved here if some forum members will stick to posting in english...this posts in Hindi and the subsequent translation by other memebers is becoming rather boring.If you must pose questions in hindi why not PM concerned members directly.

I completely agree. This is an English speaking forum so IMO please keep posts to English language. If you want to talk to an individual in their own native language then use /pm.

This is a public forum and anything posted on this thread should be understandable to everyone, not just the few who speak that language.

The distribution has been very random from CIC - some days up to 6 PERs, other days nothing, so I expect this randomness to continue. We should get some new PERs this week but no idea who many.
