Dear Maani

No I have not met anyone with similar case, it is with an experience I wrote to u, see whenever u do wrong with fee or missed documents CIO used to contact applicant, see mr.Doal case?

anyway there is no fixed rule in CIO, it depends purely and solely on person who is checking ur documents. If u have time limit for abt 2 monts in ur previous CC then wait and dont cancell it, dont take anychances, now CIO is not hesitating to return applications.

Cheers

Is there any way to contact CIO to confirm if they were able to update my CC info?

And one more thing, do you know which department will change my CC, is it CIO or Buffalo VO?

FMA,

If you remember I asked about CC number changed, and you said CIO will be able to change my CC number in their system, even if they can't change, they will contact me if there is something wrong with my CC. You seems very confident about this, did it happen in past to anyone, especially in recent months?

Thanks
They used to contact people in the past, if there was any problem with the Payment. Not sure about the new rules ............

Dear members

Greetings!! Please clarify this -

(1) As per CIO checklist, PA has to submit the photocopy of his / her passport's bio-data page - 1st & last page.
(2) As per VO checklist, we have to submit photocopies of ALL the pages of PA+ family members - All pages.

Both the points are pretty clear, but if one has to follow both instructions...then it is slightly confusing ???
For family members - ALL photocopies; whereas for PA- Is it full set or bio-data page or both for respective checklist.. :D
AND also the notarization part for the PA passport copy. OR is it simply get both the copies notarized :-\ :-X :-[

Moreover, in the CIO checklist, all serials upto 9, are original, except this PP bio-data page, and they have not mentioned anything about the notarization of photocopies    . Whereas in VO checklist, it has been clearly mentioned that ALL photocopies are to be notarized.

So finally will it be correct, IF I notarize the PP copy (with full pages), and let the other PP copy (bio-data pages) as it is....... :p :p :p :p

Cheers, Anil

thanks

i dont think passport copy need to be notarized, because the the original passport will be handed to VO when they approved your PR, they dont worry about your passport copy is fake or not, they just warn you that you must hold a valid passport of the country. if your own repsonsbility to provide real passport copy. but for other document you must provide notarized copies, because they might not ask these original documents in the future once your PR approved.

thanks

A maximum of 20,000 FSW applications, without an AEO, will be considered for processing each
year by the CIO. Applications with an AEO will not be counted against the 20,000 cap.
Within the 20,000 cap, a maximum of 1,000 FSW applications per NOC code will be considered
for processing each year.
In calculating the caps, the CIO will consider applications in the order of the date they are
received.
For the unique purpose of calculating the caps, the first year will begin on June 26, 2010, and end
on June 30, 2011. Subsequent years will be calculated from July 1st to June 30th, unless otherwise
indicated in a future set of MI.

dear fma,
1.when can we send documents like PCC to VO ND,after receiving AOR from CIO?

do we need to wait & get some letter of instructions from ND VO or Can one immediately send further documents to ND VO after u get AOR from CIO?

2.Is the file transferred electronically or physically to ND VO?
3.After getting file number(i think it is same as AOR ) from CIO, in how many days(approximate) does one receive the instructions from the ND VO for further processes like sending any required documents like Original PCC etc?

thanks

all applicants under the new 29 NOC should send their full document( everything except police clear form) to the CIO after 26th June 2010. otherwise they will not process your application.

Dear Positive

Cool down... ;) ;) ;) I hope my reply will be helpful... ;D ;D
(1) As of now there is no instruction to send another set of documents to VO (at any point of time). We are instructed to make one photocopy of the entire original set (what we are sending to CIO) for our own reference and records. The only thing that you need not send is the PCC....rest everything directly to CIO, NS,Canada. However in future if (unlikely) VO (N/Delhi) asks some query, we can again photocopy the required document (we have the entire set photocopied) and send it to VO. YES...we have to wait for the specific instructions to submit the PCC.

(2) I am of the opinion that entire set will be sent physically. It may also be possible that the documents which needs to be verified, may be send physically (like your degree, reference letters, BC etc.) and other information which is required to fill their forms may be sent electronically (like IELTS, passport details, etc).
Because of this new system nobody knows the exact procedure CHC will be following. Moreover, this whole procedure has come into force to reduce the 120 days of submitting the documents to VO and other such related delays.

(3) It is more than 2 months since people started applying. Till now we have not heard a single member / non member receiving the AOR. However, CIO has started checking the documents for their completeness. We may have to submit the PCC (to VO) within 45 to 60 days of getting the AOR .... this is purely my guess.

Cheers, Anil

Dear nzds05

I did realise the same....BUT, I am acting as per the CIO / VO instructions. We have got the chance to send the documents only once...remember they have given further instructions...."Don't send further documents..once the application has been submitted....unless asked to do so". It is also mentioned that we have to notarize ALL the photocopies, and I think PP photocopies is not an exception....who would like to take a chance for this.

Cheers, Anil
