Why can people simply not tell the truth? There is no need to leave any gaps - simply state that you traveled to Malaysia on a student visa and did not complete your studies. Why the need to lie?
I sympathize with anybody making an honest mistake in their application, but people knowingly lying and deceiving CIC it quite another matter.

dear sir, we are one of the seniors and most respected, will you be kind enough to comment on my case more specifically, it will be a mental peace, my question is, will they ever be able to find out hiding travel history though no proof/clue i left to them, e.g. no old passport/ no gap in history after 18+ on the application. thanks.
