Not really.. There are people here with Canadian experience and so, they question you, why should we offer you a position since we dont have a reference from canada.. (little as you said: "We don't know who you are?" :) )

I have one friend whom I phoned after custom( declare the things i will bring later one), within 20 minute the friend pick up me and dropped to the prebooked aparment and dinner with him, the very second day, got SIN number and opened bank account and preparing myself for further job search and other stuffs;;; hope will go smooth

Got a call from NDVO confirming that they are just waiting for a report to arrive and as soon as they receive they will be releasing my passports....which is max 6-8 weeks....so ;) ;) ;)
