I'm a little bit worried..... CIC does not respond to my inquiry thru email.... I got an automatic acknowledgment when I emailed them last friday... I read somewhere in this forum that this is normally the response but in a day or two, they will send you again an email with a more specific answer... but until now, I don't get any.....help, please.....

Sorry it was a typo, it is March 2011 as per the call center official,it is a standard time frame they say for all but I hope AOR's for most of us should arrive before XMAS.

Hi! do you have idea how fast CIO is working on applications with arranged employment? I sent my documents and application form last Oct 27, 2010. It was received by CIO last November, Demand raft encashed Nov 9, 2010 My NOC code is 0312, applied as FSW category 2

NOC 1122 reached its CAP around 3rd Nov and deem that these 1000 applicants under CAP have been cashed already. So the uncashed applications might have been sent back as well. So the applicants under CAP have already passed Completedness check.Your application was received by CIO 0n 7th OCt and they said you file is pending review and didn't mention your file was returned to you.It means you have succseefully passed first stage and your file is getting in line for eligibility review at this present.So this is the time to wait for your impending AOR.Good luck

Hi it is now 8.10 am in the UK so I am guessing it must be around 1.30pm in the afternoon in India, and 4am in Nova Scotia.

So does yesterday represent the first day since AORs came out that we didn't get a single AOR for our group? I am hoping it's a one-off and that they haven't hit a big delay

Yeah it is thrusting more not to see any AOR, today i just counted in last 5 hours people visited more than 500 times in this topic thread (Appl after 26/6...).
waiting for more 5 hours to know any news....

Thanks Jonhy, I dont remember the agents name, probably CIC is taking time to complete the final eligibilty which might include getting confirmation from bank for the deposited money and verifiying with university about our education, rest of the verification might be done by the VO. I'm convinced that CIC is working hard to get the AOR to all of us and once the AOR is thru we will have a smooth sailing in the VO. Hope the entire process is completed in 9 - 10 months by God's grace.

Hi Bindu,

I think its a very good news. IMO, they assign client ID number when application is complete and file number when eligibility review is complete. So, this is a kind of AOR for you but not official. You are also lucky to get very good customer service, do you remember the agent ID or name? i would also try calling them. But what concerned me from your message was their mentioning of backlog. What kind of backlog is there at CIC. Is it from May june applicants or pre 2008 backlog. I don't think post 26 june number of 4000 can be called as a backlog. But this is sure that some kind of backlog is there which is holding off our post 26 june AORs.
