Hello everybody,
I am a new member in this forum, I have a question about the time between medical examination and passport request...I have done my medical examination on September 2011 and the line of "medical examination has been received" added on October. But I am still waiting for passport request email I am from Iran and my visa office is Warsaw. It seems that most of applications from Iran who have done their medical examination after September 2011 are waiting for hearing passport request news from Warsaw. Is there the same situation in other visa offices too?Does anybody have a clue as to what is causing the delay?

i have the same situation and almost every body following warsaw is in the same boat.

the reason of that is the latest procedure with passport request from warsaw is as the following:
1- asking you for scanned passport copies via email.
2- after checking ur copies they will ask u to send ur passport to damscus visa office to stamp ur visa.

now bcoz damscus visa office is closed, all our files have been transfered as for visa stamping to other visa offices like for iranians the files are now in ankara visa office.
so this is the main reason for delay.... but i think by mid of feb every thing will back to normal.

My dearest forumers,

I am exxxxxtreeeeeemly glad to inform all of you that I have received the most and much awaited MR, RPRF, PCC and PPR through email today from NDVO... I received it exactly at noon time... My husband and I are extremely elated to have got this after such a long wait... This, I guess, is the second happiest day of our life (the first of course being the day we get Visas ;D) I thank everyone on the forum for being with us, as moral support, all the while that we were frustrated, anxious, depressed, curious... at every point of time...

A very very very special thanks to Canadestin... You are a STAR!!! And I promise that I will keep giving you +1s until we fly to Canada... You are awesome and even more awesome is your sixth sense!!!!!

I also thank mitali, pavan, sonir, sonu_rp, nokiadesire, dubaiite, rupesh, foreverurs, fragrance10 and one and all (I am very sorry if I am leaving out someone's name... Please be sure it's only coz of the excitement that is making me numb!! ) on the forum for your guidance and support from time to time... I really can't find words to describe what I should be saying Oh ya... and a thanks also for bearing my questions all this time ;D

And for the matter of facts... I am supposed to submit everything by March 22 but hahahahaha... who's gonna wait that long We will be finishing everything asap and I will keep everyone posted...

I have one query... In how many days we should expect our PP back after sumitting the same. eg. date given to me to submit PP and RPRF is 26th FEB'12. I am planning to send it on 17th Feb'12. In how many days I should expect my PP back with maple leave ?? Med recv line is already appearing on ECAS....

NDVO is not very consistent ...Param is waiting for over 3 months and Canadestin received PPs very soon without the "Med line" on his Ecas. Some people get Visas without any wait even though they have a complicated case (multiple foreign visits, change in family composition etc) and some have to wait for an eternity with a straightforward application.

Ideally, PPs should be returned within a month's time (max).

Now I am really upset regarding this behaviour from NDVO. I am at a loss of words to cheer you up....I realize this is frustrating and stressful.

I would suggest contacting NDVO (POLITELY....of course ) by any means ...email, FAX, CSE after every 3 days...till you receive a response.

You are in my prayers Param.
