I agree with Satya.....and you know better from this forum that checking the NOC list is the starting place....I would also urge him to go through the list ASAP because if he qualifies now then he should not waste any time applying for PR. The rules will/might change next year with the imposition of very strict ones...including the point system.satyasuman said:Hi Kg,
I would say, start looking at NOC list from www.cic.ca and identify which NOC suits your brother the most and decide the chances by yourself.
You have just started your journey and I hope that it will be exciting for you!!!

When did VO encash your RPRF DD? Did the ecas address disappear in last 10 days? When did the meds line appear in ecas?

ahhh long last !!!
Kindly update the indian and international trackers...
Thanks
I might be jumping to a conclusion too soon but it seems that applicants who've been through an interview (telephonic or physical) had to face longer timeline from inprocess to getting Visa.JasonBourne said:Thanks, Paramvir.
RPRF got encashed on Oct. 21st and MR line appeared on Oct. 23rd. Address didn't disappear at any time. In fact, ECAS is still 'In Process'.

A quick question:
Since I am in canada for the past 2 and half years and was in US for 5 years, Will my meds request be waived?
The reason why am I asking this is, When we applied for Work permit to enter canada, Since we were in US for more than a year, Medical request has been waived. In the same week, my colleague came from India and when he applied for WP, he was asked to go for Medical check up. So, Will this apply to PR as well since we are already in canada for the past 2 and half years and they may have access to our medical history?
Just a thought. What say?
Thanks,
satya.

Hi Satya, satyasuman said:I agree with you Rod. My lawyer has clearly told me during WP application that medical request is waived for me and my wife since we were in US for more than a year and the same lawyer has asked for colleague who is coming from India to go through the medical check up. So, I think medical check up rules varies from Country to Country in terms of WP which gives me an idea that Medical request rules for WP varies from PR.
Do you think this could be true? I may be wrong. Just to find out due to curiosity.
Thanks,
satya.
