No, every time you get your PCC and 3 months passes, and Buffalo does not contact you... then you have to do them again. So say you do yours now, and have them ready by Feb.2012, but Buffalo contacts you in June... your PCC 3 months are up and you need to submit new ones...

Since my address just disappeared and it looks like Buffalo is starting to move again, I am going to do it tomorrow.
Especially that my NOC is in very high demand. When my roomy sent his medical and it got lost, they called him every week to send the medical !!
But his career, "aerospace engineer" is the #1 profession in super high demand in Canada.

Hi everyone,

Today I got the most wonderful package in the post - my passport and confirmation of permanent residence! I'm incredibly happy and relieved and I'm looking forward to landing in Toronto in early January. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this forum, it has made the painful wait bearable. To all those still patiently waiting: your day will come soon, never lose hope. I will of course be happy to answer any questions and provide help where I can.

PS - Ironically London VO informed me that due to a procedural change on 1st December, it was not necessary to physically attach a PR visa into my passport. So after all the waiting, I will never get an actual visa. Oh well... Here's exactly what it says:

Dear Admins/Seniors/fellow thread members,

By the grace of God Almighty we have received our PP with visa and the COPR!!!!

the visa was issued 8Dec. Yesterday we received a call from our consultant here in Dubai that they have received the PP. I might not be as active as others do, but because time does not permit me to do so, I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank everybody for their precious help,support and guidance. Its been a year of anxiety & doubts but how can i forget this forum, I will always remember having "THE DAILY ECAS CHECKING SYNDROME", and of course the "address disappearance mystery" not to forget that we started taking vitamins daily to be medically fit too! this forum is of great help to us. I wish everybody goodluck in the years ahead. Thank you to Indira,Wayne, Dr. Hasib(& his predictions) Mitali, Anil, Moabassi-sorry if I forgot some..

To God be the glory, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!

I want information. My brother wants to settle in canada.
He has done BCA n banking certificate course. He is working with ICICI bank from 1.5yrs.
Can anyone suggest any course in canada for him so tht after completing the course he can settle there easily.
Any suggestions.........

hello everyone , just want to wish you all a very merry xmas and a happy new year, hope there will be plenty of goodluck on the forum. This year it has been like a roller coaster ride for many of us,having the forum has made me feel that not only us but others are on that ride with us and with patience we all get there in the end. We are still waiting on the medical result receive line on ecas . Goodluck to all who is waiting and Congratulations to all who has received good news. Have a great time over Xmas :-*

Got back the stamped passports with CPR docs. I don't know why but it doesn't seem so exciting after actually receiving the visas. May be coz I came to know about it when I was in middle of a really important work related full-day presentation so I didn't had time to really relish it. May be I will relish it more when I actually land.

It took them 421 days. The ECAS still shows the status as 'In Process' !!!. The visa expires in late Sept'12. No immediate plans of landing. May be around mid-2012. Surely planning to attend a CIIP session before landing.

Thanks to all those who helped me throught out. Just to name few prominent ones : Mitali, Indira, Anil Rao, Rohan, SatishMan, Barkat, victor.shareen, Zeddm and Moabbassi.

May be, when I get time, I will share my entire experience (whatever that I remember !!!) right from the initial days of preparing the application till the finish line.

NDVO's behaviour is strange while it started despatching visa's without updating ecas to DM.
