Sorry to disappoint you but I am still in India. In fact, I am still 'In Process' with MR received line. It's been over 2 months that my PPR/MR/RPRF reached ND VO.

I think I know the reason for the delay on their side. At the time of application, my wife's passport was in her maiden name but I renewed it (and it now bears my surname) just before the submission and hence I think there would be some background checks.

FYI
Any updates/news on my application will be on this thread in less than an hour once I know it !!!

Just few minutes back I got my PPR from Warsaw. I want to thank this forum in general, and this thread and its great members in particular for all the help and support they generously gave me. Especially I wanna thank older members who are not very much around these days; those who helped me a lot during my tough times. I never forget the kindness, love and support I received last year these days when my application package was lost by the courier and I had no shoulder for crying but my friends from this thread.

Wendy, Pippin, Indira, Anil, Wayne, Dr.Hasib, Cam1234, Mari, Temasek, EnviozA, Pardis, Shalom, Queencougar, Amro, Asoo, and all others whose names I may have missed- pls forgive me; Thank U all!

Hello friends,

I am coming back to the forum after one and half months.

I met my son after three months and held him in my hands on November 3 and there I started the celebrations!!!!!!

I was not having good access to Internet and busy with settling things

I completed my landing on December 1.

The immigration officer in Toronto airport did not even ask any finical proof after she saw a few Canada visas stamped on my passport.


Thank you everyone for your support.

My spouse got a job as pharmacy assistant on fifth day in Canada and now I am a full time home stay dad getting the parental benefit from Employment Insurance.
