At last received the most sought for documents, THE CANADIAN PR VISA AND COPR.

Also included are the RPRF receipt , original IELTS TRF, reference letters.

Below are my timelines for those forum friends who are still awaiting good news from NDVO:

Application sent : 6-12-10

Application received by CIO Sydney, NS: 10-12-10

PER: 3-3-11

RBVO: 24-3-11 (address disappear)

2nd. AOR: 4-4-11

Case Specific enquiry with NDVO: 14-9-11.

In-process: 24-9-11 (Address disappear)

MR,PPR,RPRF request: 26-9-11

Medicals done: 12-10-11

MedicalsRPRF, pp received by CHC: 19-10-11

Medicals have been received: 27-10-11(Address appears)

Decision Made: 5-11-11 (Address disappear)

Visa and COPR receipt: 11-11-11(Address reappeared)

My timeline is almost similar to you,

But here my medical received line was added on 22-10-11 but still ecas shows In Process and in your case, your medical received line was added on 27-10-11 and your ecas was DM on 5-5-11.

To All NDVO member,

I want to share you some information, might be useful for some members,

First we two friends sent our files to Nova Scotia in sep 10 but my file was sent back due to insufficient documents (school leaving certi was kept instead of birth certificate) but my friend's file was not sent back (he also kept school leaving certi as birth proof).

After getting my Birth Certificate, I sent my file on 10 Feb 11. Now My another friend also sent his file on 02 Feb 11.

My first friend who sent his file in sept 10 got medical request in sept 11. My second friend who sent his file in Feb 11 got medical Request in June 11 and I received in end of sept 11.

So here my first friend got his MR, RFRF and PP in 12 months, My second friend got his MR, RFRF and PP in 4.5 months and I got MR, RFRF and PP in 7 months.

So the moral of story is you can not compare your timeline with anybody. Its all about the person or officer who is working on your file.

They will process your application as it was supposed to but now they will take into account your absence from Austrailia in case they want to communicate with you for whatever reason e.g. If they issue MR then the deadline would take into account your absence from Austrailia (If the visa officer still remembers it !!!).

it was updated 2 time on 11 nov 2011 but nothing is changed in e-cas status is same inside details are same.

but would like to add here that i am going india for 2 mnths on nov 22 i have already informed to sydney vo(on 6th nov) and they replied as bellow "Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank for this info. Your file will be under review by an officer and we will contact you in due time taking into account your absence from Australia.

I received a letter from CHC, ND asking me for additional medical info (gynaecologist consult for uterine fibroids) and a lordotic chest x ray.( my first chest x ray was normal...i wonder why they have asked for this lordotic x ray) I would like to know what are the chances of getting PR after this?

My timeline is as follows: Appl received: 10 Feb. 2011, 1 AOR: March 21, 2011, 2 AOR: April 14, 2011, Med, PCC, PP: Sep 30, 2011. Medicals were sent on October 11 and PP on October 20th. Further medical info: Nov 1, 2011. Second Medical report will be sent by doc 12.11.2011.

Would appreciate your reply.

happy news guys...got my visa today.... 11.11.11 worked...thank you everyone for all the support..sply..indira..qorax..wayne..n others tooo...

below is my observations..which might help others who are waiting:-

a) it normally takes 1 yr approx to whole process ..in some cases it varies from 6 months from filing to max 1.5 months
b) keep your eyes on ecas, your email, any letter from embassy..its v important..when u gt update on ecas or email or a letter, ur case is moving..if u dont get any...its possible..ur file is lying unattentive...
c) its no harm to send mail or case specific enquriy to embassy at regular intervals...
d) bfds are important..take a track..
e) its v important to send whatever embassy asks in time it gives..u might not get another chance and embassy cud take their decision...
f) its good to keep track of ur case..and also..pray on the other side...

well ...m open to questions u might have of our experience throughout..n ll add if something comes in my mind...

and i must say..this forum is very usefull....god bless u all..and work hard..

Jason is correct. You can go for your vacation and not worry about the verification calls from VO for the time you would be away. You may however expect verification calls when you are back.

The VO is supposed to make a note on your file that you would be away and not initiate any proceedings during that period.

moderator, i case is interesting:
i applied under 1122 category. file reached cio on 8th aug 2010. file on rejected on wrong grounds on 13 aug 2010. file came back on 8th dec 2010.by then 1122 category cap was full no chance remained.
filed the case for judicial review in federal court through a good advocate on 12th jan 2011. judicial review was accepted by federal court in may 2011. date fixed for judgement for 20th sept 2011.
before judgement department of justice attorney came for compromise. they were ready to again take the application and said completness will be completeed within one month. we agreed and got the judgement hrough court.
on 15th sep 2011, we resubmitted the application. they did the completeness check in 5 days on 20 sept 2011 they generated the UCI. on 20th ecas said RBVO nd vo. on 17th oct we got the first letter from NDVO with E number.
please update in tracker.
tell me what is the time you all think it will take for finalisation of my application date the consider for application received is still 13 aug 2010.
please suggest what should i do for faster processing.

Bravo My Friend, you don't need to do any thing. It will be automatically processed fast as per your case and details, your file must have been tagged for faster processing !

Hi Mitali & Other senior forum members here,

I received my CAIPS report today but no activity is mentioned in the caips report. Its only says,

PAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE BF'D TO: FRR ON 18-09-2011

It also mentions

FILE READY FOR REVIEW

but I understand no action has been done on my file.

Can you please suggest if any action has taken place on my file or when any action is going to take place. I am yet to receive the MR though the RPRF is received by NDVO and this is mentioned in the CAIPS Notes.

Good job.... badshah bhai....I think you should PM Wayne (Cappucino) so that he could upload this vital information on his Blog. Not many people have the guts to go against CIC. Again, not all Consultants are bad...fortunately you got one of the BEST in town , I guess.

As far as faster processing is concerned....that will not be entertained by CIC....you will have to be in the queue like the rest of the applicants.

Until the ecas shows "In Process" with the date, till then u are not In Process. Getting the B# is just an acknowledgement from the VO that he has your file.
