Was hoping for some news on our application today as it's my husbands birthday,that would be a nice present . All updated documents that was requested had arrived at London on 23rd Aug,hopefully we will get MR soon. Congrats to all who have received good news and goodluck to all who is waiting :-*.

Nope, London isn't thinking about birthdays at all... ;D
I also thought it would be a nice present for my husband as well, but no happy great exciting news to celebrate about...
So, I just got him a present myself knowing it isn't what he was wishing for!
Just on to the waitinggame...

Hi Guys, I have 'Decision Made' on my ECAS this morning. Now the final wait for my PP's to be returned with the VIsa on it. They are with London VO for 2 weeks now.

Hi Rod:

Here is what I think, based on nothing but thin air ;D I think each VO needs to meet a quota of applications completely processed within a time period, set by CIO... For example, 5% of applicants need to get their PR visa in one year. That is why we are seeing VOs process a batch of applications and suddenly go to sleep for sometime. The fact that NDVO has woken up after several months is good news for the rest of us... at some point the VOs will start again with another batch of applications... Now, if you think that this seat of the pants analysis is to hard too believe, you are correct, because it is complete nonsense... created by what is left of my imagination after waiting for so long

Now my ecase status has been changed with the addition of following lines:

"Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Guidance required about submission of Photographs
Now VO demands submission of Photographs, updated information CHART provided by them and Passport copies because sending original passports through courier are not allowed in my country , but it is not mentioned that how many (numbers of) Photographs I should provide them.
If any one have knowledge about this please guide me.

I have always thought I will have received my PR before we get to 3000th page.
I am tired of seeing the same ecas status everyday without any change
So, I have gone on Ecas strike. Let me see how many days I can go without checking my ecas.
Hope to see + news when next I check my ecas.

An ecas strike you say 8) What a fantastic idea, I'll join in Do you think VOs are keeping tab of how many times we log in to ecas? For example, do you think they are holding their stomachs, rolling on the floor with laughter, when they see my numbers... Logged in 1,462,879 times within the last 12 months, averaging a little over 4000 times a day ;D

My case has moved on very well for sometime. It is 3 weeks since they received my wife's X-ray and baby's medical and there has not been any update since then. I don't think I need CAIPS for now.

Some VOs issue PR visa if you submit passport in person.
Is it possible for one to request any faster service from London VO in contrast to their current 2 weeks service?
