Hi friends
Is there any difference between first and second file no? My agent told that there is no such second file no.
Is there any difference in eCAS if enter different (1st or 2nd) file nos.? I got confused. please help.

Hi msagar,

There is nothing as 1st or 2nd file # ....but people who had their docs documented under CAIPS got a different file number when the system switched to GCMS. You should be able to login with either of the numbers.

That is a difficult question to answer because the response from NDVO has not been consistent. Some people have gotten response in 2-4 days and some have had to wait for weeks ( depending on the workload and question you pose).

I just received Passport Request from Buffalo for me and my spouse. It took exactly 60 days from the day they receive my Medical. They have given me till September 16th to stamp the passport with visa. I am planning to go their personally.......................... HUH..........such a great relief after almost a year.

I just remembered some months back when Buffalo was like a 'dead' VO.
I am glad Buffalo applicants are now getting visa.

Update:
My baby's medical and wife's X-ray were done yesterday.
The DMP promised to send them to London VO as soon as the X-ray is out.
Hopefully, London VO should receive them this week.
I will then wait for the glorious email for passport request.

hello dr. hasib ,hope u r fine , i read ur lots of posts i need ur suggestion i am a Indian citizen and residing in UK , i had my visa of uk till feb 2012 ,, i applied for canada in feb 2011 and got per on 29th march and from 14th April my status is showing RBVO , after that no movement what u say about my case AND if its go later than feb 2012 do i need to change visa office which is presently London,,thanks very much
