I have just received my passport request!!!!!

It arrived via snail mail, I have 45 days to submit my passport and 2 new passort sized photos!
I am shaking, it is finally a reality, eek!!! ;D

Thanks Mayank and Montu, my medical results were received 20th May, Ecas address disappeared 30th May and has never returned. Ecas changed to medical results received 9th July.

Dear Haral,
I had applied on 20th january 2011.
My file was receievd on 26th january By sydney.
I had done file through agent.
Then i dint get any reply from my agent.
Last week i forced them to reveal the information.
He sent me one mail, which he had sent to Canada to enquire my status.
In reply it was written the Application No EXXXXXXX and "File under review , client will be notified in due course".
I use same Appli no in Ecas to see the status .Now my status shows ""We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 22, 2011.
Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."
Still i have not received any response from any one.
Kindly guide me in this case what should i do?

Well I am pleased to announce that at 2pm today, after almost 11 months since we mailed our application, we received our visas in our passports from CHC London!

your file number and eCAS status means you have been found eligible by CIO for further processing and case is probably already transfered to Visa office

+ who's email was given to CIO..Your's or Agents??? the letter is the email that they send with the feedback pertaining to eligibility review...talk to your agent and ask them to send you that email..

Or it must be sent to me?

check with your agent for 1st AOR than keep checking your eCAS..hopefully the 2nd one come soon..

I have watched the video. It does seem to me to be incredibly one-sided and bias.

All of the immigrants shown in the video are not native English speakers, and their English did not sound particularly great, so perhaps language was a barrier for them at interviews?

And, for example, the pharmacist seemed upset that he had to work as a pharmacy technician for 4 years whilst he recertified in Canada. To me that is purely down to his lack of research if he thought he could just turn up and work at the same level he did in Iran without recertifying.

I have no doubt that some immigrants will find difficulties they will have to overcome when they arrive - but I think this video paints a much blacker picture than is truly the case.

......and for a lot of Pharmacists I know in Canada, certification usually happens in 12-24 months depending on the pace one adopts to clear the re-certification exams!!!!!
4 years seems rather off sync too!
I guess fluency in English (or French for that matter) may prove to be a bane of contention! ???

1- get your 1st AOR email from your agent.
2- keep checking your eCAS status for updates.
3- you should be able to see the file transfer from CIO to VO in your eCAS description.
4- it will take some time.maybe 2-3 months to recieve your 2nd AOR.

But..This much time gape could be possible?

As you are using an agent, the agent will be sent all communication from the VO concerning your application. It should be possible to contact CIC and tell them the situation i.e. you have still not received any communication regarding the outcome of the eligibility review even though your ecas status states that a letter was sent on march 22, 2011. ask them what can be done to get this info. the letter from NDVO regarding 2nd AOR (RBVO) is sent by normal mail.
