Hey all,

We fly this Tuesday, cant wait. Rented a small 1 bedroom at Mississauga, fully furnished.

Quick question, I wanted to prefill the PR card application form IMM5444, but this link says I do not need to fill this form or follow this process and the same will be issued as part of the immigration process.

My only fear is getting to Canada in winter. Not very welcoming.

I will be processed in Accra as well because I have work experience in 9ja. I believe Accra is causing all the delays.

As long as we are still in the game, we have hope.

A quick query for London VO applicants: Anyone knows how long it's taking to get response back for a case specific enquiry? I sent one last week. Still waiting for a response.

I think it depends on the Officer in charge of your case.
I do receive quick responses to my queries.
I have sent them 2 queries via fax and they responded within days.
I sent them a fax last week monday and I got a reply 3 days later (thursday).
I think they respond faster to fax than email (my opinion).

I sent one to them just above a week ago and they replied in less than 24 hours. Sent it around 4pm and got their reply around 10.30am the next day. I guess they can respond in a couple of hours or after several days.

Finally, my ecas status has changed to In Process. It reads; Your application was reviewed and we started processing on July 12, 2011. Congrats to Asaif and I pray that all those early applicants (July, August, sept., Oct.) who are still on RBVO will move to In Process and get their MR soon. Thanks to every single person on this forum for your support over these months.

My passport with the visas have finally reached me..
I always knew they were dispatched long back and I still don't understand why d hell did the postman delay in delivering them...

Thank god my mom was along with me else wud ve picked up a big fight with him...

It largely depends on how busy they are, and what you ask. Queries of the "what's going on with my application?" kind tend to get ignored. More genuine queries have a better chance of a response. When our RPRF/PCCs package was originally lost by the post office, CHC London responded within 2 days.
