Well, I truly understand your frustration and sympathise with you. The difference as i can see is in the E and my file starts with a B, but I really dont think that difference has anything to do with the disparity between the two applications. They have some logic for sure. I dont believe it is purely random. We just have not cracked it yet.
Our file number
also begins with a B and yet nothing for us but processing and good news for you! ;D
If there is any logic, it is lost on me.
I am just hoping for some good news for us all - we have waited too long.
I am quite sure that our app is being held up by the in-detail processing of Cat 2 to catch all the fraudulent applicants that have been using it to get round the changes in Cat 1 list jobs and the previously long processing times for this category. It seems now that it is the Cat 1 which is getting done in 6 months and the Cat 2 that will take 4 years.
I hate those fraudsters.
I also hate the fact that London know we have a job and a TWP and LMO which proves we have a legitimate job and yet they do not move us past those whose AEO is potentially suspicious.
I will post the results of the CAIPS notes when we get them and hopefully that will reveal something about their working methods.
Neil thinks that we will hear something soon because we have been RBVO for four months now and that is 120 days, which he has read here somewhere is one of the BFD timescales, but I have no such hopes when other applicants to London are getting meds after less than 2 months at London. They are foreign applicants, though not UK nationals.
