I guess its full until its a lucky 1000. I mean they could have posted 1010 etc.. if it did not signify closure of NOC

No, they will only accept 1000 applications for any NOC that have passed the completeness check. Whatever number inside the 1000 actually passes eligibility and gets a visa is irrelevant... That is my understanding. Usually about 5% fail, so this NOC should end up with 950 or thereabouts.

I suppose one positive side to the cap is it does mean that there will be less applicants going to the Visa offices the more NOCs that get filled - potentially meaning faster processing since they won't be slowed down by a continuous stream of FSW1 applications.

WOW, there goes NOC 1122... I don't think there will be an announcement as such; there it is, 1000.
God, can you imagine the people who scraped through and the poor applicants who lost by a hair...
Well, if as some have reported they are at Sept. 10, and that is completeness and not eligibility, I'm out :'(

So the 1122 cap filled mmm what do u think guys now one of my friends call them today again and asked about his file nothing they don't have any record for that they receive it on 9 of sep. And now they work on 10th so where is the file ????!!!

No body know I don't know it is the first time they provide us with this address I mean before now June applicant send their applications on the same address

We will try to call them tomorrow again and see what will happen

Well, maybe they looked at his papers on November 2nd, but credit card charging was recorded day after. God knows.

For all those who have known that their application was returned: really really sorry for you guys. May God help you to resubmit and to easily recollect your papers.

I'm following the forum but i feel so frustrated to participate any more . Among all stresses in my work and the overwhelming stresses i'm passing meantime on a daily bases regarding different issues :'( :'( :'(, waiting to know either i'll pass or fail the eligibility review is the most overwhelming and hardest for me. ??? ??? ??? :'( :'( :'(

My application was recieved on the 2nd of Sep, so i suppose the eligibility has done already! I really wish if it is not passed, to be returned right away to resubmit!!! :-\

Here's the whole thing, now we may know if the numbers on their site means complete applications or eligible applications. If they stop accepting new 1122 applications and if they mention that they are processing applications until Sept so and so in category 1122, then the picture will be clear. Secondly, if they wait to fill all the NOC's, it won't be until next june we see our AOR. I hope they start sending AORS after finishing off May and June applicants sunce only 20-25% applicants are left to receive AOR.

Pls i need advice for a neighbour. With over 9 years of experience,he plans to apply for NOC 7242-Industrial Electrician, under the new NOC list. He has 3 children from 2 different women, but no formal or traditional marriage (hence no document to proof relationship) with any of the women, but he presently co-habits with the second woman( the mother of 1 of the children)

NOW, how should he treat these women in his application? He intends sponsoring all his children without the women. PLEASE ADVISE

The question is, did they counted the applications upto 1000 until nov 3, 2010 or until september 10, 2010. I think they are counting on the daily basis, upon receiving they already do the completeness check and record it in their computer both date and time received including the internal file for each applications. So, IMO the 1000 applications were counted until nov 3.

Ive been checking the june applicants spreadsheet and noticed that it took them 4 months to receive an AOR, but their encashment is quite different coz, some were encashed in august and september and still received AORs in October. Maybe the 4 months waiting is the real deal here not the 33 weeks. Within that 4 months period eligibility evaluation will be done compared to pre 6/26 wherein upon receiving AORs they are to send the complete documents within 120 days to their respective VO.
