Cannot believe my eyes, it has arrived request for Passport from Paris VO. Received e-mail just 30 minutes ago.

Soooooooooooooooooooo excited, now we can finally start to get things in place. We intend to drop off passports on 21 June and pick them up on thursday afternoon. Leave for Canada 4 Sept 2011 8)

We plan to move to South London, my husband knows the area, great schools and houses. So far there seems to be plenty of nursing jobs, but planning to take a break until after Christmas.

Certainly very quiet. Our medical results got back to London 7 weeks ago and still ECAS does not say they've been received. RPRF draft was not cashed when I checked last week, although my bank is going to phone me tomorrow to check if they've been cashed now.

Just hope we're not in for a big "go slow"!

Thats a good plan Yeah indeed nurses are on the high demand on the market. I have seen commercials asking for nurses on subway flyers and banner ;D

Just an update guys,

They received my medical today. It took them 8 days to finish and send my medical. Cost me around $630 (me and my spouse). I am glad that they send it through fedex, as we all know that canadian postal service is in strike.

Waiting for my FBI, after that another long wait for passport request.

I hope that more buffalo applicants received their medical request fast.

NOTE: It is specifically written in the medical request letter that the medical request should be sent to Ottawa, Canada and not to Buffalo Visa Office. Whereas Police certificates should be sent to Buffalo Visa Office.

Don't worry. Mine is same as you. These are the lines that Sydney added to the system, Buffalo has not started anything yet. The first thing we will see in the system is after "In Process" stage they will add:

"we have started reviewing of your file since..." or something like this.
