We received your application for permanent residence on November 18, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 24, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 19, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

It's only 21 days (24/05/2011) since I sent my passport to NDVO with PCC. Medical was done on 12th May though.
I am a bit nervous abt what the decision wud be.

i had sent passports on 19th may 2011..there was one test remaining in our medicals for which doc called us again on 25th may..did test and sent the all medical reports which embassy received on 2nd of june ....

Just chill shruti, Every case is different, so it may take longer for you even if timings for both cases are similar. There are plenty of people who have sent passports way before you and are waiting..!! Nobody knows when you are going to get your passport with visa, so wait!

File Number comes in an email from CIO confirming that your payment has been received as well as your documents.
Times varies but it is said that nowadays it comes in 4 weeks (mine arrived in 4 months though)

For ALL those ND VO applicants who applied before Oct. 28, 2010 (the day when NOC 1122 Cap reached) and received 2nd AOR before March 31, 2011 - Here's a statistic:

Only 11 applicants are in RBVO - 8 of them belong to NOC 1122 - I smell a clear discrimination.
