Unfortunately, according to the website of RCMP "The processing time is currently in excess of one hundred and twenty (120) days ", I have to wait another 120 days for this check. I don't know when we'll get the medical request.

Since you are in canada, you can choose to submit your check electronically, you'll have the results within 3 days (but it's a little bit more expensive):

I want to inform that Anil is on vacation & Indira is suffering from Typhoid fever & hospitalized for couple of days...that is the main reason they both are away from forum

Two (Anil and Indira) of the three NDVO spreadsheet admins are away and moabbasi (very prompt I must say) seems to be busy for last couple days.......Have some patience.......It's not that ND VO won't process your application further unless and until the spreadsheet is updated.....So chill !!!

Though a good idea, we'll have a really small sample to conclude anything meaningful and more importantly it will take at least couple of weeks (or definitely more I guess) to get the required data from the users......whether users are willing to disclose such information is also a question.......

What were you suggesting???
1. Married (Y/N)
2. Kids (Nos)
3. Total Employers (Nos)
4. Countries lived in (Nos)
Category 2 applicant - PA currently working on TWP in Canada
1) Principal applicant - married (once only to UK spouse for 16 years. No previous marriages for spouse either)
2) No kids
3) 3 employers since graduation
4) Countries lived in prior to applying - 1 since birth for both PA and Spouse

Also we have a large excess of points due to Canadian job, education for both PA and Spouse, Work Experience, high IELTS result and max points for age - we estimated that we had over 80 points, so even if we he over-estimated we are nowhere hear borderline.

So, if this puts us in the "complicated to process" category then God help anyone else. :P

Oh dear, I wish all the best to Indira for a speedy recovery To be so ill at any time is terrible, but at this point it must be awful.
I am so sorry also for those who have received NER recently. It makes my wait seem not so bad as at leat our application is still in the game, as they say. I hope the reapplication is successful for them.
Happy to see that some applicants harshly treated by CIO have been courageous and have made their case and received their reward. Fortune favours the brave! :D

Thanks to those who have posted regarding RCMP checks. As my husband has been working in Canada since we applied, I assume that London will ask him to provide a Canadian police check, even though he provided a UK one with the application?

i have a feeling they put us in "complicated" department, which is still dealing with old applications, not in "complicated to process" category :-\

Other "fresh" ones gone in newly established Department. ::)

OK I agree but why do you say it only in regards to the London VO?
The lack of logic in the order of processing of the applications applies to all VOs.
And if there is logic in the order in which the applications are processed in the VOs then we can't understand it simply because we don't have the details of the forum members.
Let's ask the people who have already received visas if they are married and with how many children if any.
Other useful info would be if they have lived in only one country hence needed only one police clearance.
Then let them tell us if they had only 1 employer or 10 for example which will mean respectively 1 or 10 references needed to be checked by the Visa Officer.
etc..
We can't judge the work of the VOs without knowing the details of the applicants.

Dear kefche1,

Just have a look at my case:

- Married with NO children

- Lived in ONLY ONE country since birth (both of us)

- Worked in ONLY ONE company since beginning in ONLY ONE NOC (against which I have made the application)

- No LANGUAGE problems as such: IELTS' band score: 8.0

- No criminal record

- CREDENTIALS exceeding what are required in the applied NOC

- The company for which I am working is the MOST RENOWNED AND LARGEST COMPANY in my country

- Excellent paperwork with EVERY BIT OF INFORMATION provided

- Spouse is highly educated and therefore, could help us establish in Canada

- Funds exceeding appreciably than what are required

I mean have you seen such a straightforward case?? and still RBVO!

Ammaar
Yes - OURS!!!! ;)
So that is you and us both very similar with such straightforward and easily dealt-with applications (in fact, as Category 2, we have even less paperwork as we do not even need to send proof of experience in a particular NOC category or Proof of Funds!).
It makes no sense to keep applicants with everything going for them in such limbo.

Once again today we are still RBVO and our address hasn't been changed, despite advising them on the ECAS site over a fortnight ago and also following up with a hand-written letter to London VO.
I am at a total loss to explain this myself and I have heard no explanation that makes sense from anywhere else yet.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed support towards us July/August/September applicants who are still waiting.
I am interested to hear about this Cat 2 applicant getting med requests from Buffalo. I wonder when they applied?
