Since there are 4 months between our applications, and using simple logic, you can expect your ecas status to turn In Process 4 months after mine turns. Mine is still RBVO.
But don't worry, London VO doesn't use logic at all.
I think London are now taking discourtesy to an extreme.
They say they are processing applications in the strict chronological order in which they arrived. That is clearly not the case. And when people try to ask them about the discrepancy they simply reply with cut+paste spiel.
I accept some applications will take much longer to process than others, owing to more complex background and security checks etc, but all applications should at least be going IN PROCESS in the order in which they arrive.
We have July applicants such as yourself asaif who are not in process yet, and also August and September applicants such as Queencougar.
Yet looking at the spreadsheet for London we have a January 18th 2011 applicant (pzohaib_uddin) who is already "In Process", and November 22nd 2010 applicant (EmmaJ) who has already received medical requests.
Why are January 2011 applicants being placed "In Process" whilst July/August/September 2010 applicants are still waiting? CHC London are going against their own policies stated on their website since they are NOT processing these applications in the strict order they arrive.
We feel very lucky to have gotten medical requests, and feel utmost sympathy for the July/August/September applicants who are still waiting to be looked at.
The problem is that, as Queencougar has already mentioned, CHC hold all the cards. They leave you no realistic channel to find out what's going on and to complain. Any query just gets responded to with irrelevant standard wording, if you're lucky enough to get a reply at all!
So all I can do is keep my fingers crossed that something speeds up soon for these earlier applicants.
Wayne.
