I also had an Email from Cairo VO instructing me to arranage a courrier service to pick up my medical
And pay RPRF for both me and my spouse
I need to know what information do I need or have to provide the courrier to be recognized as my agent, File no. is allowed to be given to the courrier beside full name???? please advice

@ Victory – Yes the next phase of planning has already started.

@ Architect_100 – Singapore VO had a self collection option, and I opted for it. So I am not sure what the requirements is for courier service. Sorry. I can check once I return home this evening though.

@ Wenstumped – Yes, the list is slowly but gradually getting larger by the day, and hopefully all of us will get to meet at the X’mas 2011 / NY 2012 party in Canada.

@ Dr. Ray – It is, and I suppose its because I opted for the self collection option. Hope you get yours real soon too.

Hi, Like many others, i m one of the silent member, my e-cas status changed to IN PROCESS on 20th March 2011, Detail showing that

"We received your application for permanent residence on September 8, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 29, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 17, 2011"

On 08th April,2011 LONDON VO received my spouse documents along with $550 BD, which is stll outstanding,(i got marry in FEb, 11. One month passed to compile/complete documents). still ve no news from VO, should i contact VO, and send query or wait, pl guide.

second thing is that since last two weeks i m in malaysia, but will back to my home town soon (say by start of August,11) wat i need to know that when should i inform my VO, right now or wait till medical papers receved or after landing my home town, pl advise

Hi assimm4u2,

I believe you should have received your medicals by now, but probably haven't because of the change in your marital status. The VO will have to go through all the documents you sent for your wife and then proceed with your case processing.

If you have someone who can regularly check your mail box at home to let you know when you receive your medicals then I would suggest you wait and not update your location as yet. Making changes now will only slow down your processing. Besides, I think you would only have to mention your Malaysian trip as part of your travel history, since you will not be there longer than 6 months you will not require PCCs nor are you shifting your file to another VO.

I hope this helps but maybe some of the other members have a different POV?
