But in most cases, the change to IN PROCESS on ECAS as actually lagged at least a fortnight behind the actual start of processing, because people have been receiving the change on say the 16th May, but their ECAS than saying that they began processing on the 3rd May.
So, it may be that our file is already IN PROCESS, but ECAS has not been updated.
It has also been reported that some people got their medical requests even before their ECAS actually changed to IN PROCESS.
If I wait until ECAS shows IN PROCESS I might have to wait forever at this rate.
How else can I get answers to how long my process might take?
I am feeling driven to take big chances and move to be with my husband in B.C before we have the important notification and that is causing me a great conflict of emotions.
