Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Sorry for replying late to the post ..
I was out of town for a few weeks

I did try finding out with the Delhi VO about my application status through mail and below is the response

"Under Canada's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all visa applications."

I've suspected of this being outsourced for awhile now. On what basis do they pick out applications to check is still a mystery though.

I think the eCAS updation is outsourced to a back office too. I feel these are minor but understandably frustrating hiccups.

Firmly believe the next week will see a rain of PPRs and DMs.

I dont think so , today is 42 days that my app has been recieved and no news .....now I am convinced to have a beautiful NER instead of PER

Sorry for this late response.....
But don't worry, you will get your PER.......
Just keep a little patience, there are a lot of us who are still waiting over 120 days for any sign from CIO so try to keep thinking positive!

Heard nothing from James1. Our RPRF etc should have reached CHC London today by 1pm (well it's 1am as I sit and type this, so I guess I mean 1pm yesterday now!) - but Royal Mail web site tracker still says "Item XXXX was posted at YYYY on 11/05/11 and is being progressed through our network for delivery." What's the point of paying 6 times the price of recorded delivery, for a worse service?

Going to be SOOOOOOOOOOO annoyed if it's gone astray!

Great - STILL their website says "Item XXXX was posted at YYYY on 11/05/11 and is being progressed through our network for delivery." It was supposed to be guaranteed to get there by 1pm yesterday! I mean it was going to Central London, not like it was going to some remote island in the Orkneys!

Now what the hell do we do? Going to try phoning them at lunchtime. We have exactly 1 month now until our 60 days for RPRF/PCCs + Schedule 1s is up. If it takes us 2/3 weeks to find out these didn't get there, then we won't have time to get fresh PCCs.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrating. This is the LAST piece of post to go to CHC London...

Just phoned and got their automated service. Accorded to that, their system cannot get the status of our item!

Dear Indira: I hasten to assure you that drinking beer doth not a Canadian make! HOWEVER, and I take a serious chance of being excommunicated for what I am about to say, it DOES help with the tedium of watching endless hockey playoffs, which are only second to Cricket, in some people's eyes!
I loved Cam's comment about these cultural adaptations being the reason for the 3 year wait for Citizenship!!!

I might as well stick to the Beer thing I'm obsessed with cricket lately and so No thanks to Hockey Just back from a fantastic cricket match last night

As I told you yesterday, my wife ( primary applicant ) can't able to login to Ecas to see the status but with my client id I can able to login to ecas. Regarding this issue she has sent a case specific inquiry to the email. Do you know any guess why it's happening like this. We are afraid that why she can;t able to login. Only happy news is RPRF got en-cashed but this login issue irritating.

Any guess abt this login failure cause..

First ECAS is not a 100 percent reliable. Next you've gone too far in the process for something to get wrong. Please hang on and your passports will be back with the maple leaves soon
