Just so you know this data from this link was downloaded from e-case on April 01, 2010 and we are now an year ahead..... Up to my understanding buffalo during 2009 it was fast but after that it kind of slowed down..

I have just received this E mail. It is shocking News for me. I am associate Professor Obstetrics-Gynecology. Have about 17 years of experience. Have got a Fellow ship degree.
Can you or some body else help me on this forum , Can I apply again, and what should I write about my experience. What should I write about the "essential DUTIES"

I am really sorry to hear about these news.
I am not an expert, but since I have done some research before I sent my documents, I have noticed that the duties specified for the NOC 3111 are not specific for each specialty. In spite that for us is quite obvious what our duties are, maybe the person who is processing your documents doesn't know and the duties registered are in general for all the surgical specialties:
This unit group includes specialist physicians in clinical medicine, in laboratory medicine and in surgery. Specialists in clinical medicine diagnose and treat diseases and physiological or psychiatric disorders and act as consultants to other physicians. Specialists in laboratory medicine study the nature, cause and development of diseases in humans. Specialists in surgery perform and supervise surgical procedures. Specialists in clinical medicine usually work in private practice or in a hospital while those in laboratory medicine and in surgery usually work in hospitals. Residents in training to become specialist physicians are included in this unit group.

This group also includes the following titles: anatomical pathologist, anesthetist, cardiac surgeon, cardiologist, clinical immunologist-allergist, dermatologist, diagnostic radiologist, emergency physician, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, general pathologist, general surgeon, geriatrician, hematologist, hematopathologist, medical microbiologist, nephrologist, neurologist, neuropathologist, neurosurgeon, obstetrician-gynecologist, oncologist, ophthalmologist, orthopedic surgeon, orthopedist, otolaryngologist, otorhinolaryngologist, pediatric surgeon, pediatrician, physiatrist, plastic surgeon, pneumologist, psychiatrist, radiation oncologist, respirologist, rheumatologist, thoracic surgeon, urologist, vascular surgeon. I am not sure how can you ask for an appeal, but maybe you can explain that your duties are those and others that I supose you include in your papers.
But if your contract and reference letters include these duties and responsabilites please let us know because maybe we will have the same problem.

hi daud , IAM very very sorry to know ypur rejeccion. I also applied under noc 31 1 2. On 28 oct 2010, vo me. My application is still with CIO. IAM an orthopaed ician of 15 yrs of exp.

hello 3112 is noc code of general practioner not specialist which is 3111.hope u showed ur job duties as genearl practioner not as specialist.if u wanted to apply as specialist in orthoped
u need to put noc 3111.
bt if u appliedas general prcationer and showed ur job duities as orthoped specilaist it might b aDR probem.
dr.Friends please select correct noc code 3111 if specilaist if gp thn 3112 and show job duties accordingly

Please note that in front of London-RPC region and under Federal Skilled Workers it says 17500 in which 1 seems to added in front of 7500,

and looking at other figures also 7500 seems to be logical.
