I too like Donmar is waiting on a reply from the Kingston VO. I have sent them a number of queries and no reply. I have even written a letter and delivered it to the VO (NO REPLY). My ecas has been showing RBVO since January. It is heartbreaking to see other VO sending out responses and some people even receiving VISAS.

This cannot be right. There is a fundamental flaw in the system and CIC must be made aware of this. At the end of the day our applications was for a PR Visa to Canada and not a VO. I hope that in time they will move to correct this.

Now coming to my asking NDVO applicant's their immigration file no. Starting from B05.

Just a thought going through my mind.

Since my file no. Starts from B04 (as I am an old applicant(may 06)), I hope the VO office doesn't use a auto filter to scrutinise new cases (B05) on priority basis rather than (B04).

Hence otherwise the Logic of being “In process” for 61 days after receiving AOR with no additional document request just doesn't make any sense.

Waiting for another 2 weeks before going for GCMS notes.

but still no reply...i am atleast 2 months behind schedule of Indian (chc ND VO) applicants...Really worried now...WHAT SHUD I DO?
i am getting depressed...wait is getting horrifying with passage of each day...

I am very sorry to hear of your continuing delays.

I think it is not entirely bad news. If the visa office did not consider you have the work experience or enough points etc you would not have passed the 2nd eligibility review and would have had a refusal by now.

Since you have had 2nd AOR and are "In Process" I think the delay must be in
the background checks, which at this stage is to do with your supporting documents (the security check part of background checks happen after medical requests).

Is there any part of your application which is particularly complex? They sometimes use third party companies to perform some of the document checks, so a delay could be with one of those companies rather than CHC itself.

If CHC New Delhi are not replying to case specific queries then there is little you CAN do but wait. I'd advise sending another query - sometimes they can be a bit hit and miss - i.e. sometimes they respond other times they don't.

Obviously, It's not about luck, but about where do you live. Don't bother yourself with the VO, but write directly to the minister's office.

So asaif you think the pattern is that those currently living in the UK are getting dealt with first?

I tried asking the first 2 London applicants who got med requests, who were both October applicants, their country of residence and origin but don't think they answered.

However, as I understood it which country you currently live in compared to your visa office is only likely to affect security checks - and if it does affect document background checks surely this delay will come in force AFTER your file has gone into process? I can't see why your country of residence should affect when your file goes into process?

Thanks Odin .. I wish it could be that only, but my status got changed before i submitted my medical results even.

So fingers crossed lets see !!!

Well Wayne, just to clarify something: I have nothing against those who received the MR what so ever, and I wish them the best of luck. When I keep talking about the order at which the applications should be processed and my frustration about the discrimination between applicants, I put the full blame on the VO not on anyone else.

I wish you are right and that country of residence has nothing to do with the processing priority, However, I can't see any alternative explanation for this situation. Regarding the 2 London applicants whom you mentioned, I'm quite sure that at least one of them lives in the UK as I had correspondences with him.

And you are absolutely correct, the country of residence or origin shall not affect the order at which application processing starts, but only the time needed to finish it. Nothing can justify the discrimination London VO is exercising right now.

BTW, I marked by red the applicants who were overtaken by their VO for no obvious reason, trying to extract some pattern for these cases.

I am also an old applicant too. I received new file number starting E00***, when I check, my eCAS shows both applications, old one in process as before. However, I am also lagging behind in getting an AOR. Do u think old application could have a bearing on it ?

Whenever I login into ECAS there are Two "In Process" lines showing my old file(May 2006) and the new one(Sept 2010)..


So I guess It's just the waiting game and NO logic.


and if your old file status is showing "Withdrawn", your PR VISA is already Stamped..
