If you get PCC from passport office ..they don`t put Photos on it.

Indira just stated that a colored logo of the National Emblem (I hope you know what that is) is there on top of the PCC, she never mentioned that there is a picture of hers on it.

And as far as I am aware, the picture of the applicant is never placed on the PCC. However, there is a stamp placed by the passport office on a page of your Passport mentioning that a PCC for a specific country (in this case Canada) was issued and the issuing date.

Dear Khashayar,

I'm so sorry to know about your mistake which has apparently put you under loads of stress. Just try to calm down. You really don't need to panic at this stage.

The only number available for applicants outside Canada is 001 613 944 4000 and the extension is 1-2-1-2-0 if I'm not mistaken. However for your case, regrettaby I don't believe it could be of much help since through this number you will reach the CIC office/Ottawa which has nothing to do with CIO/Sydney. Moreover, I believe your problem is sth you have to inform CIO about in writing and a telephone conversation will not work.

So, if you have already filled out the form in this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/csu.asp ,you could be hopeful that they are now aware of your problem. Still you can send them an email to this address FSW-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca (with no space before and after @ ) and explain your problem. After sending this email you will receive an automated response and you can be sure that your correct email address is now recorded somewhere in their system. As for the first form,although they mention that they won't reply before six weeks from submission,it's not always the case. For me myself-with some urgent problem-they replied before that so-called six weeks and were really hepful. You may rewrite to them when your six-week is over in case you haven't been contacted by then.

I think each and every passport office has it's own way of doing things. My PCC from Pune has my photo attached to the letter and it has been stamped with the Logo

And the office is most useless in Pune. It takes 6-8 weeks to get a PCC from Pune Regional Passport Office.

Unfortunately, this is the fault from your end and you have authorized them to use all information exactly how you typed/wrote it.
They will not do any changes.

Anyway, nothing to worry much. You have just missed PER on your email, rest everything will come to you as MAIL/Registered Post. So, once it reaches to VO, you need to contact them to fix the issue.

CIC will not fix your issue, only VO can do that. However, you can still call CIC, to find out if your UCI# & File# is generated! If so, request them to pass it to you, so that you can use case-specific request to VO to fix the email id.

Now, I have been informed by my company that our Board Meeting is scheduled on 18th May out of country. Since I am one of the board members, it is very important to attend the meeting. Also I am required to travel to foreign country for training in the month of June.

Now, I am in dilemma what to do now. Should I write to NDVO about my circumstance. Will it be advisable to ask for passport at this stage as I donot want to risk my immigration process.

Pl advice.

Sure, let the VO know about your upcoming abroad trip where Passport is required back. Open a case-specific request and try to fax & call them as well.
Hopefully, you will get it stamped VISA soon before you actually need it !

Not sure It is advisable to ask for the Passport at this Stage. You may give them n number of reasons (in this case Memo, or Travel Booking details), the VO interprets by his/her own whims and wishes, as fas as
the OP6 handbook provided to them, there is no specifics on this type of situation (as far as I remember).

It is better to wait for a while and not let them think that it's just an excuse for faster processing (you know what I mean).
