Dear bkcnbr

Congrats for the salary hikes !!

I would think this is not a major change and not important to update. VO expects only the important changes to be updated which will have direct effect on the processing (like taking up new job, addition of a new family member, address change etc).

Thank you Grasshopper.. we are waiting for the good news to come from your end...

what to do if we travel abroad after submission of applicaion, do we need to fill up any forms or just let them know about purpose of visit?

Well, if you think 4 months of waiting is tough.......try to get a visa with AEO! ;) Waiting for over 1 year now, and still haven't got a PER or any answer for that matter! :-X
Even when CIC is saying that you can start counting the timeframe of 6-12 months after sending in the AEO application at HRSDC/SC, I know for sure we are not going to make it within that timeframe!

Just wishing that CIO and CIC will give some answers to all of us!!!

Kind regards,
Louise!

Hi,

AOE is a strange one. They supposedly get priority processing, but the processing itself takes longer since they have to validate the job offer against fraud and there seems to be a sizable amount of fraudulent job offers out there.

Although it is difficult to directly compare your timelines to ours since the pre-June-26 process is different.

Wayne.

Hi all,

I am new for this forum. I have applied for Canada PR in Dec 2010 through canadian agent. I have yet not received file number even. One of my society ladies also applied in Dec 2010 and she had completed her medical check-up twice and also got her PR number.

If anybody know, please let me know generally how many time requires to get PR?

Thank you for your cooperation.

ANYONE GOT THE VISA STAMPED.................

Not yet - although it seems a number of New Delhi and Manila applicants are very very close.

Certainly I think by the end of April we will see some visas from these visa offices!

London and Buffalo on the other hand......

I need advice from people who had to mail their FBI certificates to Buffalo VO!

So I was waiting for my file to reach Buffalo, which it did last week. Now I want to send them my FBI certificate that was the only one that I didn't include with my application. My question is if it is sufficient to write a cover letter including my info & file numbers and mail it to Buffalo.

Address that I've found is:

Canadian Consulate General
Immigration Regional Programme Centre
3000 HSBC Center
Buffalo, New York 14203-2884 U.S.A.

Can anyone confirm that this is the correct address?

Thanks!

~Ira

Although my visa office is not Buffalo but I was in a similar situation as yours and was thinking to send my FBI certificate to my visa office (London) but I think I waited too long to send my FBI certificate and I got an e-mail last week from the visa office asking for it. I would suggest that you send the FBI certificate with a cover letter giving all the important information to avoid any delays because eventually the visa office will ask for it. Hope this helps and good luck for all the next steps... :)

I don't think you need to tell them about trips abroad unless they are for extended periods which will require a new PCC (i.e. for 6 months or longer).

Baring in mind some people submitted their applications several years ago, CHC wouldn't cope if they had to take correspondence every time people went on holiday!

I think you just need to inform them of important changes to your circumstances - i.e. employment changes, birth of a child, marriage/divorce, change of address etc

Wayne.

Many congrats. dear Samira,
So did they send an Email asking you to choose between a couple of items (like whether you would like to arrange with a post company to go pick your package up or let them send it by regular mail)?
Or did you just wake up to see the package at your door?
Trying to figure out whether the discrepancy exists even in the method of sending medicals to applicants of the same country!

I got my medical request this morning ;D 8)

Dear admins;
kindly update my status: received MR dated on march 16

regards, Samira

Thank God! I have received my medical request and I am required to provide some documents including evidence of Australian PR, the Right of Permanent Residence Fee and Police Clearance Certificates. But there is no passport request. Fingers crossed my police clearance certificates will be done before deadline.

Actually I am a little bit confused about requiring the evidence of Australian PR. I assumed anyone who lives in Australia more than one year can send their applications towards Sydney Visa Office regardless of temporary/permanent residency.

Is anyone requested to provide the evidence of PR in the country of current residence? For example, if an Indian now lives in UK and his Visa office is London, would he or she be requested to provide the evidence of PR in UK?

Thanks.
