'Some' is the key word here. Some of them will get it within one year. As long as that happens. the minister is free to say in the press conference that people have got the Visa as planned by him(he will conveniently not say the keyword 'All').

How about then we say that "Most" will get their visas before a year's time from the admission of their application? ,
though I still see it possible that they may All get it, because as soon as they actually start processing, our post june applications are not really many in comparison to previous years & to the amount VOs used to process..

Don't worry Kittu, we have experienced that before in some of September applicants, I remember queencougar & several others waited for much longer to get their PERs than their fellow applicants.. but still finally got it & are now in the other queue line , so don't worry you will soon be getting it by god's will

Please note that your application has reached the medical examination stage. To prevent delays caused by normal mailing service, you have the opportunity to choose between:
a) Either to come in person to Damascus, Syria or to authorise someone on your behalf to pick up your medical instructions and forms or;
b) To arrange with your commercial courier company to pick them up on your behalf, the courier company will need the following information: your file number, our below mentioned phone number and that the envelope is at the visa section.
If you feel that this is difficult to do, please advise our office and provide us with a reliable mailing address, so we can send your medicals. If you do not respond to this email within ten days, your medical forms and instructions will be sent to you via regular post to the address we have on file.

I still feel this is not fair. It takes many people a lot of energy, time and money to put those supporting documents together. Ours took us well in excess of 3 months, with efforts from families, friends across 3 continents to put together. If the CIO is insisting on keeping the initial document, then hey must be able to reactivate the file if the circumstance of the applicant changes after NER, a long as it still within the current MI. It would not be fair IMO to expect them to go gathering all of those documents again if they need to reapply.

I think that you could use this point in your favour.. if they already have your papers, then why not complete whatever is missing that they require, send the originals to them besides sending a fax of copies of whatever proof you sent with a cover letter asking them to reconsider your application under the new proof you have send them & do you have a file number now? you could use it as well, so that they get the new papers with the application..

I think that the wait is starting to get to some of our friends.. We are ALL in the same basket, with the same worries & with our future lives on hold waiting for a lifetime decision to be taken.. I think that we should try our best not to make our worries turn out to wanting to be before other forum members (whether they are after or before us). I think that it would be better if we hoped that everyone get his visa as fast as possible & try to feel happy for the ones who got theirs a little bit faster than ours.. for though it's the most fair that the ones who sent their applications have them processed first, I believe that visa offices are doing their best regarding that, and that it's not always that possible to obtain, because for example, some applications might be simpler & easier to assess.. so, just lets feel happy for the ones who had theirs done first.. & who knows after all which is better, being assessed first or last..

I hope I don't sound too serious , I just wanted to pump a little positivity regarding this point.. to myself, as well as to other forum members..
for ofcourse I also wish my papers would finish as fast as possible.. )))

Hello all admins of tracker,
I have some suggestions for more easy tracking, If most of forum members agree with that then implement it.
-> Freeze the column up to application received by CIO date.
-> As most of the members on tracking got their PER, I think mode of payment and date of payment is no more of importance so move it to last column.
-> Instead of payment mode and date of payment column, put ECAS Status column and ECAS last update date column

Once again its just my suggestion.
