if you are the principal applicant then it may be possible to update further details of the spouse or accompanying partner in a later date. but it all depends on which location are you based or which Visa Office?

OMG Signs of buffalo waking up . My ecas status is still "In Process" but when i click on it, it has three lines now instead of the prevous two.

the extra line being that they started to process my application on such and such date

even you have enough numbers to get through the threshold point.it should be fine and then you can give them additional documents at a later stage (this point should be made clear when filing for PR application.

Same thing happened to me. They started processing of my application on 23rd February and issued my medicals on 22nd March. So, Don't worry.

Hey friends anyone who got 1st PER after their application signed by Mr. M.KORZSWDA
I am wondering if CIO has separated some of our files aside and dumped somewhere.....its almost been more than 125 days and yet nothing happening with the application...;i can see few of us even before me have not got their PER so want to do some research whether CIO has really dumped our file or still doing some background check.... Experts and seniors in this forum please share ur opinion regarding if i could send my new job details which i started after few months my application was received by CIO, and how do i inform them, send it thro mail or email or fax?????

Hi Rod,

You are right that nothing is mentioned in the Specific for the US. but i enquired the same from ND VO before applying for this application as my son had been to US in 2007-2008. The reply I got clearly states that you need to procure a fresh PCC whether you have been there again or not. also i must mention that FBI Clearance was taken for my son in 2008.

CIO answered on our enquiry last month, and they said that our file is under review and we will be contacted. Standard reply. I am not very optimistic after 174 days.

yeah if they are not happy then CIO should send it back ASAP so that we can reapply with the missing document before this year june.
really waiting is kiiling and loosing hope day by day........

I am in the same situation with you guys. I don't even have a file/ref number yet. CIO are yet to respond to my online query. While my waiting time is not as long as you guys yet, it would be of benefit if the CIO would just send back the app on time so we can repackage and send it back again. It certainly would be unfair to be rejected when it's too late to reapply particularly with so much talk about changes to the FSW eligibility criteria coming down the track
