Hello Guys:
I am new here and want to begin by appreciating FMA and everybody who work to keep this thread going.

I sent my application to the CIO and it was delivered on 5 March 2011 and till now, I have not heard anything. Also, my credit card hasn't been charged and I am wondering if that is normal.

I would appreciate a response because my NOC (0631) is almost full.

Thanks

CJ

Hi Rod,

You are right that nothing is mentioned in the Specific for the US. but i enquired the same from ND VO before applying for this application as my son had been to US in 2007-2008. The reply I got clearly states that you need to procure a fresh PCC whether you have been there again or not. also i must mention that FBI Clearance was taken for my son in 2008.

Thanks

Kittu

Dear Kittu,

Thanks for the information. ;)
I hope and pray that the London office does not ask for a fresh FBI certificate as it takes a long time to get it from the FBI. This whole confusion is because earlier CIC wanted Police Clearance and then when I applied for it they changed the rule that Police Clearance is not required. Anyways lets hope for the best for all of us...

Kafeme (not sure about the spelling since he is not on the tracker but he posted this message on this thread) and Fighter got PCC requirment letters after their 2nd AOR. Thanks.

yes, you are right...the spelling is 'kafeime' -he posted on March 5th in this thread and Fighter posted on March 6th regarding their letter from Singapore VO requesting PCC.

OMG Signs of buffalo waking up :). My ecas status is still "In Process" but when i click on it, it has three lines now instead of the prevous two.

the extra line being that they started to process my application on such and such date :)

Hi Everyone...

Since I was required to take GT IELTS (after almost 7 months of application)...I got pushed back a lot and just received my PER for the 2nd time this month after submitting the GT results. I guess my file must be on the way to VO now. So I guess right now I am at the back of the whole queue...sending my application so early had no benefits for me it seems (my fault though, should've taken GT).
But it really feels very good to see Singapore VO waking up and sending MR finally!
Wish you good luck with your application, hope to hear more good news from the applicants!

thank you dear Indira .... and sorry for the delayed reply ..... I hope everyone gets great news

Dear Singapore VO applicants,

After going through "Fighter's" post dated 6th March 2011, one thing is clear:
"Applicants(Singapore VO) who didnt send PCC to CIO would get PCC request with 2nd AOR from Singapore VO.
Medical request would come alone after that"

regards,
Dr.Hasib

Guys....

Today I have received one letter from Singapore VO mentioning request for additional information. They give a separate file number for my case. and the letter has been issued on 24th Feb 2011.

The requested document is: PCC within 60 days from 24th Feb 2011.

Actually I have been in India for more that 6 months. but while submitting the applicaiton package on July 2011, it was not possible to collect that from India as I am doing full time job and its time consuming to obtain that (also the CAP issue was there in my mind at that time). However, in my applicaiton package I mentioned that if required I will provide that in future.

Later on in Auguest I came to know that I can obtain the Police clearence certificate from Indian embassy of my home country. They are providing this facility. So, I applied and got it in august.

Now, as Singapore VO is required the PCC of that country, I have a doubt that whether that letter is ok or I need to obtain it again from Indian embassay as the letter is almost 7 months old.

Please note that I have submited my home country PCC with my applicaiton package and there is no issue with that.

Please suggest me what to do....
