**** BREAKING NEWS ****

Nectar is an idiot. Oh wait, sorry we already knew that.

But the OTHER breaking news is that our address is now showing again on ECAS! The rest of it is the same "In Process/We started processing on 15 March" etc.

I wonder, is this an indication that the transfer from CAIPS to GCMS is now complete? (Since this was supposed to be the reason the address disappeared in the first place).

Wayne.
Dear Wayne could you tell what exactly is CAIPS and GCMS?

I received my PER on Feb 11 2011 and yesterday was the first time that I had checked my Ecas status and it said "In Process" with the 3rd additional line that "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 3, 2011". I have applied through a consultant and I do not see my address or the consultants address anywhere in my Ecas so where exactly is everyone seeing there addresses in Ecas. My visa office is also London and am waiting for MR. Good luck to all of us. :D

Dear Indira I have mentioned all the missing details below and thanks for adding me to the tracker. ;D

2nd AOR issued (VO) - I have still not been issued a 2nd AOR as yet. Hopefully I will have the 2nd AOR and medicals request soon with the grace of God.
First 3 digits of file number - According to the PER the first 3 digits are E00 but there is a separate UCI XXXXX number mentioned as well. Could you explain what is that UCI number.
eCas Status - I have checked my ecas status the first time today as my loser consultant never informed me about it. I checked the ecas status using my UCI number and File Number mentioned on the PER and it states "In Process" clicking on "In Process" it further states that:

We received your application for permanent residence on October 18, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 11, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 3, 2011.

As I have checked today for the first time my ecas status could you and other senior members shed some light on the information mentioned above regarding my ecas status and what should I be looking forward to.

Days elapsed since application received - 155
Days between application received & PER - 116
Days elapsed since PER received - 39
Intended Settling Destination - Not sure as yet

Dear Indira could you please add the information to the tracker. Thanks for your help.

Days elapsed since application received - 156

CAIPS = old system (Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System)
GCMS = new system (Global Case Management System).

No idea what's going on with London. You received your PER almost 2 months after us, and still went "In Process" 2 weeks before us! Seems there sent a big pile of applications to London spanning several months, and they got jumbled up and now they are just processing them based on where they randomly got put in the pile! ;)

Thanks for the information Wayne and I pray that we all get the MR soon ;) as this wait is just killing me  and my consultant is full of crap. Lawyers suck big time...

I have added this to the tracker. No need to insert the numbers manually, there are calculations which work it out dynamically.

Well actually have some stuff to sort out at lunchtime and so far this week:
Saturday: Cycled to my parents and back = 20 miles
Sunday: Played 1 hour of badminton, jogging 3 to 5 laps of the sports hall in between each game
Monday: Cycled to work, then at lunchtime to the bank, to home, to shops, back to work then back home again = around 18 miles
Tuesday: Cycled to work, lunchtime home and back, then back home again end of day = 14 miles

So prior to today I have cycled 52 miles this week and one 1 hour's badminton and running. So not doing too bad so far for an almost-40-year-old! ;)

Starting to ache a bit so keen not to overdo it, hence why today I am probably just going to do the 7 miles to work and back. Have my gran's funeral tomorrow which will be a difficult enough day without having to worry about too many aches and pains!

Wayne.

Hi Anil - thanks. Very useful information for ND applicants.

I will do the same for London med requests as soon as I actually get the bloody thing! ;)

I assume these are checkboxes and that they will not check the PCC box if you already included it with your application?

Question for the board:

I have read on another thread that you have to include your fingerprint card with your PCCs when you send them. I know for a fact that FBI no longer sends back your fingerprints card... Question is, does anyone remember reading anywhere in the guidelines that we need to include our fingerprint card with our PCCs?

Thanks,
Cam
