please help me wid d above.. :(

Hi - if your payment was cashed then you passed the completeness check. The delay is not necessarily any sign of failure, since they have not sent you a NER.

And we have seen in the past some applications delayed by a month or two and then the applicant got PER ok. So I guess some applications just take longer.

If you are concerned then contact CIO via their website. If they haven't issued PER or NER yet they will just say your app is "under review", however if they did issue PER or NER and it didn't reach you then they should at least confirm that they sent it.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Friends,

my e-cas status is 'in process' since last 2 weeks,
What does it mean this 'in process'

But still not.

Uncertain....

hv u received the same?

Ashisvet

Dear Friend,
I have not received MR yet. As you know my AOR took 3 weeks to reach me, I hope the MR wont take that long to reach me. I am also not sure whether they have issued the MR before the verification call or after. If it is after the call, then it can take few more days. My status has been in process from the beginning with the additional line - we reviewed your application and started processing from November 23. So this in process thing does not make sense at least in my case. Hope we receive the MR soon.

NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning our ECAS status reads "In Process" and we have the following in the detail:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 30, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 15, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 15, 2011.

Another ray of hope for London applicants? :)
Of course, we have yet to see any of these changes translate into anything with substance such as 2nd AOR or med requests but it is encouraging.

And we get to post this news on page 1337. Leet :)
Wayne.

Hello All,

My ECAS also changed from RBVO TO INPROCESS with the followings,
We received your application for permanent residence on August 23, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 9, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 15, 2011

I think that at last LONDON visa office started working on our applications. Now wait starts for either 2nd AOR or Medical Request directly.

Excellent news!

We are the London guinnea pigs it seems! Since I live in the UK the snail mail service will be very fast from London. Even second class post only takes a couple of days. So if they send 2nd AORs by letter should hopefully get them soon. Nothing on email yet though.

Hello Wayne,

what do you think that is it just a coincidence of the activeness of London and Singapore visa office at the same time because two of the Singapore VO applicants also mentioned status changed to IN PROCESS from 15 march or it is again a bug in their ECAS system.
