You did not have to suggest that people are petty. That is why I added the issue of reason. Yes its a public forum but let the discussion be constructive. I'm not willing to direct anybody to any lawyers. It is left for people to do their own investigations as I did. I'm just suggesting an alternative to total refusal. No one is petty whether they employ help or not. It is about people's futures and that is what drives my passion. I don't believe in giving up at any point but I will explore every avenue available until there is no way to go before accepting defeat. i've said I don't need a debate about representatives just statistics. I did not consider your "got in" as a mistake. I emphasized it as a quote not as a mistake. I was simply quoting your response and for you to find that petty is rather baffling. Having the last word can't be such a bad thing since you chose to respond. Maybe your pathological diagnosis is a symptom of your issues. Get help.

Can I change my Visa Office from Buffalo to New Delhi as my work permit in US is going to expire soon and I have to Leave US by May.

My present Address & Visa Office - USA ( Buffalo )
Permanent Address- India ( New Delhi )

Please let me know if this is possible ?

i think it is possible and i am also going to do the same thing. Whats your ecas status- has your file reached BUffalo VO? I think our files are with buffalo VO only but they are not updating E-cas. So, buffalo needs to be contacted for the request to transfer the file to New Delhi.

This waiting is killing me

Could someone tell me how does Sydney assess and provide points on the second official language. If you mention on the form that you have a good level on the second official language of canada (the one for which you do not have to take a test) , do they take it for granted?

You can request it but they may not accept it. Just make sure you have a visa to the USA in case you are required to attend an interview. Only the VO can decide if applications can be transferred or not.

Ok your visa office must be the office that represents either your current country of residence or your country of origin.

Once you have chosen your visa office in your initial application CIC will not allow you to change it, even if from country of residence to origin or visa versa, without a very good reason. "New Delhi are working faster and I want my visa faster so can I please change?" regrettably probably won't cut it with CIC and IMO they will not allow you to change visa office at this stage.

AFAIK you have to provide proof of language for any points you are claiming. In my view they will award zero points for second language claims which are not backed up by approved test results (IELTS or similar).

Incidentally does anyone know at visa offices such as London, how long it is before you can enquire? They used to say 16 weeks after full docs received, but of course the trouble is you don't know exactly when full docs have been received since they are sent straight from CIO to visa office.

Thinking it may be worth giving them a nudge if London don't hear anything by the end of this month. It won't make them process >J26 any faster but they may at least give some kind of timescales as to when they expect processing on these to begin.

This is from the London VO website. So it is 9 to 12 months after submitting application. The first guys who submitted early, like Asaif can send it now.
