very true Wayne :)

Every one of us is waiting, only that the queue is different, some queues are better to be in @ the moment ;)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Indeed - London isn't so much of a queue at the moment, as a void!!!

Hey There Wayne..

Thx for your reply....I asked for your inputs on some previous posts...but I guess you missed them...anyways....I get your point and do agree with you....but if you go through my previous posts...you'll see what kind of situation I'm facing...lets just say...it's a little bit more frustrating than yours...although..yours is pretty frustrating as well :D

Hi, well I don't have time to go back through all the posts on the forum if there's any I missed, but if you can post any particular concerns I can see if I can address them or help?

Cheers,
Wayne.

A lot of other members esp. Indira, Dr.Hasib have been really helpful !!!! but I'd like your input as well....

the more the merrier :D

although that has nothing to do with it..... ;D

Repost then others can also respond if they have any helpful ideas ;)

Because of time zone differences sometimes if I go out at night and then to bed, when I wake up in the morning there can be 5 to 10 new pages of posts and I don't always have time to look through them all, hence why some get missed.

BEWARE----REPOST REPOST REPOST ----- BEWARE !!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone...

Just have another quick question

Was checking ecas...where both my cases are shown....the new one shows...(copy pasted)

My Name --- Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete

After clicking the above link then i get this:

We received your application for permanent residence on November 16, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 24, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I havent received any email (PER / NER)..

Then .....Quote from: Salvador1981 on February 28, 2011, 08:46:07 pm Wrote

Hi Someone,

I've seen your post, and the next ones after this one. I've also read the replies from Indira. I have the exact same issu as you, and I believe Jincymaramon is on the same boat. My e-cas shows:

We received your application for permanent residence on September 30th, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter to "my mailibgaddress" on February 1, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

As you see, I am pretty much sure that in my case, since my address is stated, I am getting an NER with all the papers back. I also sent an enquiry through the cic website to CIO Sydney at the beginning of February, they've replied today saying my file is still waiting to be reviewed by an officer. Who knows what's going on eh?. I'm planning to call tomorrow and find out. In any case just wanna let u know that yours is not the only case.
So what to do or think?

I actually disagree. I don't believe it's a question of priority. I think VO's are told they have to process all >Feb 2008 applications (>J26 and <J26) in the other they arrive at the visa office.

The speed difference is that >J26 go straight to background/security/medicals stage. <J26 have to go through eligibility review and selection/admissability.

I think <J26 applications which are already at the background/security/medicals stage will get processed before >J26 which have just arrived. The difference we see at visa offices IMO is how many <J26 were already in at background/security/medicals stage.

Big offices like London and Buffalo probably already had hundreds (maybe thousands) of applications already at that stage, and they will all have to be processed before they are allowed to start on the >J26 applications.

Obviously a >J26 application will get processed much faster than a <J26 application when merely taking the time they arrive at visa office, since <J26 has a lot more work to be done on it.

Think about it - 90% to 95% of the visas which London has to issue are Federal Skilled Worker. If >J26 were getting "priority", would we really have been 3+ months since the first applications arrived there and still not a single 2nd AOR yet?

My 2 cents.
Wayne.
